  • Great time

"The property is beautiful and the home is every thing we could ask for. Our 5 grandchildren age 5 to 10 loved all the games and media room. We had a blast on the lake too. Thank you so much"

  • Porch is so awesome

"My family, wife, 2 sons, 2 daughter in laws, one grand daughter spent a wonderful holiday on the river. House is great, porch and outside are just awesome. Located on one of the best if not the best set of rapids on the river. We just walked right up the trails and put in and floated down over and over. The water in front of the cabin is perfect. You can walk across to the other side but you have to pay attention. And with the rock dam built you have a great swimming area for the little ones. My grand daughter is 3 and played right there and had a blast. Ladies laid in the lounge chairs in the water with her. Located close to everything, but we never left except to drive up river to the second bridge to float back down. That was a blast but took about 7 hrs. Just an FYI. Rope swings were great. My boys acted like teenagers on those things. The last thing they did before we left was ride them one last time. Owner is the best. Communicates great, texted me the day after check in just to make sure everything was ok. Deposit was returned very quick. Beds were comfortable, I did not even turn the TV on but I am sure it worked. Air Conditioning was perfect and it was hot outside. We did not use the bunk room but I made a point to check and see if it got hot or stuffy - It did not. It was cool and comfortable. I wanted to make sure for next year. I have another son and daughter in law that could not make this trip, but hopefully will next year. The only thing I can think of that would have made it better is if you would sell it to me. Love it."

  • You could not ask for anything more.

"I could not say enough nice things about this place. It was secure, private, plenty of room for pets or horses, private river access at one of its widest points. Great river bank for panning or hanging in your tube. The house was spotless and the mattresses were SO comfortable. The house was fully stocked with EVERYTHING we needed and Carol has even left ample packets of info on parks and local maps that are hard to come by. Carol was responsive and was extremely well organized in terms of getting there and comfortable. It felt like home. The place is decorated great with a HUGE hanging bed on the front porch looking over the river bank and fields. There is a fish pond to feed catchfish, feed to feed deer, feed to feed the MANY bird houses. I have never seen so many beautiful birds and butterflies in one place. There was also a huge natural build fire pit we used for making smores and telling stories. the only thing I wish this place had, was my name in the deed. It is truly a little piece of heaven on earth. The house had a great new washer and dryer and gas stove and a huge fridge with a grill outside. There was free firewood onsite. I loved this place as much as any place I have ever stayed in my 44 years of travelling."
