  • Top notch service and a spectacular property

"WOW! That pretty much sums it up. A week before the Savannah marathon, we were informed that the home our large party had rented for the long weekend was deemed uninhabitable due to Hurricane Matthew. I scrambled and fell upon an even more amazing option (thanks to a recent cancellation). From the first contact, Cindy was highly responsive, thoroughly understanding and extremely friendly. Upon arrival at the property, she provided an extensive tour of each area of the compound. It is a stunning home filled with amazing art and every amenity you could possibly need. The courtyard was perfect for gathering as was the movie theatre, dining room and living room. We loved that many of the common areas were devoid of technology, but every bedroom was outfitted with a TV and other entertainment options. The space was large enough for everyone to enjoy a comfortable stay. The home was located on the marathon route and was awesome for runners and spectators alike (great break spot for the runners and the porch was the perfect perch for cheering squad). We LOVED the little gems Cindy told us about during the tour -Vic's an amazing dinner spot, Collins Quarter for coffee and brunch, and the phenomenal PARKER'S (you could get EVERYTHING you need at this place 24 hours a day - gas, gourmet foods, wine, hot breakfast from 10 pm-10 am, and a crazy selection of gifts). To say we frequented the Parker's would be an understatement as we often visited multiple times per day. We had such a great visit. I would highly recommend Cindy and Wayne's spectacular property. We all discussed how great it would be to live in the home and I think everyone photographed the closets in the master to someday replicate at home. It will be great when the front bedroom on the 2nd floor has it's own bathroom - another upgrade in the works! Just a gorgeous estate and wonderful people. We would be honored to call the Marmaduke Hamilton our "home" again someday soon! Thank you so much Cindy!"

  • Great house and location

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic stay in Savannah and loved 509 E York st. You can't beat the location -walking distance to all the sites. We had a delicious dinner at historic 1790 inn (one block away) and the pizza from nearby Screamin Mimi's is well worth trying. The House is spacious, well appointed and has everything we needed. Weather was warm so we enjoyed eating outside. Bedrooms are very comfortable and each has a TV and ceiling fans. Also there is a additional box room which was perfect for our toddler in a pack n play. Highly recommend. Very helpful company who also quickly shipped back something we left in the house."

  • A Wonderful Introduction to Savannah

"I can't say enough good things about Heather and her Savannah apartment. She went above and beyond to assure that we were happy and had everything we needed. She corresponded with me several times before our trip, making recommendations for everything from the easiest route to the apartment, to great restaurants and a fabulous walking tour. We tried several of the restaurants and found wonderful food and service, and we would highly recommend Dirk Hardison's "Savannah Rambles" walking tour for anyone who loves history and/or architecture. The apartment is spotless, and she's thought of everything - there's coffee, sunscreen, books and movies ... really everything you need for a wonderful stay. The apartment is in a great location, and easily walkable to everything. Thank you, Heather, for helping make our first trip to Savannah truly memorable!"
