  • Great stay at the "Lodge"

"We had a lovely, restful time at the Lodge. It is so comfortable and well appointed. It had everything we could need, including a great screened porch to sit on under the huge oak trees and just relax! Cookie and Danny are the best hosts....we were there for the month of December and Cookie had Christmas lights on the porch and around the bar and seasonal greenery everywhere. When we arrived at 8 that night there were 'sliders' warming in the oven, olive salad in the fridge and music playing. We enjoyed our month there and would definitely return..."

  • Nice atmosphere, great dock!

"Owner is extremely helpful and accommodating! Dock on the tidal creek is great for kayaking, just avoid low tide! Beautiful location set between live oaks covered in Spanish moss. Harris Neck is worth checking out. Had great time fishing with Captain Alan Reddick out of Shellman Bluff Fish Camp!"

  • Lovely Location & Property

"We stayed in Richmond Hill over the 5th to 9th November. The property was immaculately clean when we arrived; the kitchen is well equipped with good quality pots, pans, Pyrex dishes and other utensils, as well as washing and drying machines. The property is light and airy with a solid wood floor which is very easy to keep clean and the large floor to ceiling glass doors open out onto the deck which has a great view of the river. The location is great as it is on the outer bend of the river and when the tide is out the herons and egrets use the exposed sand bars for fishing. Downstairs there is a shower facility useful for cleaning off any sand before going into the main house. There is a deck facing the river which has a great view which is perfect for sitting out with a drink watching the sun go down. Savannah is about a 30 minute drive away and we went over to take a trolley bus ride and visit the railroad museum. Both excursions are worth taking as you get to see a lot of Savannah from the trolley tour and at the museum you can also take part, on the American side, in the re-enactment of the battle of Savannah! We had a great time at this property and would return to see more of Savannah and the surrounding environment."

  • Comfortable and clean vacation home

"This vacation rental is extremely clean, relaxing, and comfortable. I traveled to Jacksonville, Florida which was only an hour drive from the home. The neighborhood was quiet. This home has everything you need to enjoy your vacation, in a home, away from home. I would recommend this home to anyone that is look for a peaceful environment."
