Pleasant stay on Amelia Island-we recommend the unit to you.

"My girlfriend and I spent four nights in the condo. The unit was as advertised. It was clean, well maintained and comfortable. Predictable and fast wi-fi. The kitchen had everything we needed. The master bedroom has a queen bed as does the second bedroom. The bed is comfortable but a little noisy if you have to get up during the night! Master bedroom bathroom just has a shower. Not an issue for us. If you are staying for a week or have more than two in your party, you will want to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, and bath towels as there are limited quantities supplied. We came prepared, so not an issue. The deck furniture needs replacing. Only two useable chairs downstairs. The other two were rusting and one was broken. There were two simple plastic chairs on the upper deck that we did not use. If you are coming back from the beach with sandy feet, the only option to rinse off before you enter the unit is a tap/faucet tucked in the corner of the lower deck, behind the bench, that is very difficult to access. There was a shower head at one time, but this is inoperable as the valve to it is completely corroded and will not open. My girlfriend scraped her leg on the sharp edge of the broken valve while trying to rinse her feet off. I noticed other units had a hose attached to the tap. This would be of great help and prevent tenants entering the unit with sandy feet. The outside lights the carport area at the entry to the unit are not working. This made it difficult to see what we were doing when we arrived on the Thursday night and on other evenings when we came home after eating out. One of the lower deck lights was also not working. I suspect that these are light bulbs that need replacing. The unit is right on the beach and close to the boardwalk over the dunes, so getting onto the beach is very easy. However, the complex is adjacent to Peter's Point public beach access. This beach allows vehicles to drive on the beach, including the beach in front of the units. On two occasions we witnessed idiots acting irresponsibly on the beach with their vehicles. There is a posted 10 mph speed limit on the beach. These "yahoos" were easily doing 40 mph in beach buggies. If you have young children this may be an issue. To get away from the vehicles, you will need to walk south (about 500 feet) down the beach towards the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, where vehicles are not allowed on the beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Owner was a pleasure to work with."
