  • Most peaceful getaway ever!

"I've stayed at the Riverfront Log Cabin twice now, and can't wait to plan my next trip! I deal with a lot of stress on a regular basis and this Cabin certainly can take it all away. The lake view sunset is truly amazing, as you sit in the large screened in porch or in a double rocker on the back deck. Although there are neighbors close by, it is very quiet and serene, very dark at night as there are no street lights for miles. WiFi and Cell reception are hit or miss, but it didn't take me long to get used to that. I found that I could enjoy not having an Ipod in my lap or an Iphone up to my ear. I trade them in for the beautiful sounds of nature when I stay here. Everything is provided, just bring food and drink. There is an IGA and a Family Dollar a few miles away. I did learn if you run out of liquor, you're gonna take a very long ride! I won't let that happen again! Five stars to this fabulous cabin, I will very highly recommend!"

  • So worth it!

"We were looking for a little cabin in the woods, but were a little nervous picking a place with no reviews. We decided to take a chance and I'm so glad we did! I'm so excited to give this place their first review-amazing! The overview and photos provided were spot on. Everything was just as advertised and even better. It was also super clean and comfy. The décor throughout the property was so inviting that it really felt like our second home. We weren't looking for anything else to do so I can't tell you about Waynesville, just about the cabin. We fished, we kayaked, we hiked, we grilled, we sat by the fire, played cards, enjoyed the peace and quiet, and made some great memories. On the last night, we were having so much fun quality time, my fifteen year old said, "I don't want to leave". That speaks volumes to me. It was me, my husband and my son. As far as space, the actual cabin is a one bedroom one bath, but there is a separate cabin with bunk beds and a bath. My son chose to stay in the one bedroom cabin with us and although there is a pull out couch in the living room area, my son is 6 foot and we set up a queen size blow up mattress we brought from home that fit perfectly in the living room area and slid off to the side of the bedroom during the day. So there is the cabin, the tiny cabin, and a party room where we ate most meals, played checkers, and played cards. There is also a deck overlooking the pond where we sat around and fished. I wish we could keep this little place all to ourselves, but find it only fair to share all our positive thoughts about it so another family will find the little gem we found!"

  • Perfect!

"We stayed at this house for my son's 18th birthday. The owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met and were very helpful. There's quite a bit to do at the house especially if you enjoy being outdoors. There's a ping pong table, screened-in heated pool, tennis court and driving the golf cart around was a hit with the kids. The only suggestion I would make is stocking the pond with trophy bass lol. The fishing isn't too good around there and there are no bait shops in the area. All in all it was a great stay and I'll definitely be coming back."
