  • Most peaceful getaway ever!

"I've stayed at the Riverfront Log Cabin twice now, and can't wait to plan my next trip! I deal with a lot of stress on a regular basis and this Cabin certainly can take it all away. The lake view sunset is truly amazing, as you sit in the large screened in porch or in a double rocker on the back deck. Although there are neighbors close by, it is very quiet and serene, very dark at night as there are no street lights for miles. WiFi and Cell reception are hit or miss, but it didn't take me long to get used to that. I found that I could enjoy not having an Ipod in my lap or an Iphone up to my ear. I trade them in for the beautiful sounds of nature when I stay here. Everything is provided, just bring food and drink. There is an IGA and a Family Dollar a few miles away. I did learn if you run out of liquor, you're gonna take a very long ride! I won't let that happen again! Five stars to this fabulous cabin, I will very highly recommend!"

  • Outstanding! Couldn't have been better.

"Natalie was so welcoming and helpful. We loved the Rails to Trails path and boardwalk across the street especially. We are already trying to figure out when we can visit again!"

  • beautiful peaceful setting on the marsh

"the accommodations and the Hegi's were the very best we have encountered. we had the ground floor of a new two story coastal property. there are 2 large bedrooms , a well appointed galley kitchen, dining area and a very comfortable living area. the view on the marsh was almost 180 degrees. the wild life abounds."

  • 3rd time back

"My husband, nephew and I have escaped the winter in Canada We have brought our dogs as there is plenty of room for them to run and play Every time I come I am surprised Scarlet O'hara does not desend down the front stairs This is a great house for a reunion or for a family house for a wedding or an escape from the north in early spring The back porch looks over the marsh and you can relax watching the tide coming and going while having morning coffee or and evening drink You are in a quiet area but with everything you need close by- Winn Dixie, Gerry Lees BBQ and hwy 95 We have been lucky enough to have come 3 time and I can see this being my home away from home ever year Thanks Vickie for sharing your beautiful place"
