  • Perfect mountain getaway

"We had everything you could want for ages 18 months to seventy. The boys fished, the girls swam. The moms cooked in a well appointed kitchen. The big tv was perfect to watch the Bulldogs. We will definitely return."

  • A peaceful, beautiful sanctuary

"It is always great to stay at a place that is tastefully decorated, fully loaded with everything you need for stress-free stay, and in a beautiful location. Wagon Wheel Ridge has all that and more. Beds are comfortable, floor plan is great and the view from the cabin is amazing. The communication process is top notch -- plenty of detailed instructions and directions. Hope to visit this fabulous place again."

  • FALL FOLIAGE RETREAT!

"I rate this home 5 stars. My husband says nothing is ever perfect but I can't imagine what could make Hills n Holler any better. The view is fabulous! It is one of the quietest places we've found and we look for the mountain retreats. As Seniors, we appreciate the ease in unloading on the same level as the parking. If you stay on the upper floor, you don't even need to use stairs. This is our second stay at Hills n Holler and won't be our last. Great place to see the fall colors. The town of Blueridge and Dahlonega are less than an hour and Amaicalola Falls State Park (one of our favorites for fall colors, waterfalls and hiking) is about 20 minutes away. There are great wineries nearby. The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with an array of spices and all the cooking utensils you need. You might want to bring a crockpot for you day outings. The fire pit is a great nighttime window. Walking/hiking right from the house is good, too. We stayed here 4 years ago about the same last week of October when the house was new. Honestly, we could tell little difference in the condition after four years. Steve does a magnificent job of keeping the house up. Bedding and towels are good quality. We have just used the upstairs for two of us, but would be great for additional people as the downstairs gives you privacy. The decking--upstairs and down is fabulous. I do my yoga downstairs as it feels more in the forest. Upstairs is best foliage view. Love to eat on the deck. Grateful Floridians that hear the mountains calling, want to see the fall colors and are amazed at the quiet. You can hear the leaves fall."

  • Amazing Christmas Holiday

"We rented this cabin for a Christmas Holiday to bring our family from all over the county to one place. It ended up as one of the most amazing Christmas Holidays we have had. The home was warm and welcoming. To our surprise, their was a Christmas tree which just topped off our expectations. The home was clean and well stocked with everything anyone would need to stay for any length of time. We would highly recommend this property. Thank you to the owner for sharing this property with our family."
