  • Peaceful Retreat!

"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. The king size bed was so comfy, the little extras like detergent and softener, turvis tumblers, ice maker, good quality linens, plenty of towels and a screened porch, as well as an open one, with lots of seating were awesome. But the best thing is the sound of the river and the view at the different levels of decking! No words or pictures can describe the atmosphere, you have to feel it for your self! Beautiful! Gorgeous! Perfect location as well, close to all the quaint, little local places that we loved, but far enough away to be peaceful. Thanks Tracey for allowing us to use your home! Bob and Anne"

  • Beyond cozy and comfortable

"The pictures are great and the cottage is even better. It was beautiful. The porch swing is the size of a twin bed. The decor is so pretty. Everything about it was lovely. The couch was big and comfy. I will come again for sure."

  • Great mountain retreat

"My husband and I rented this lovely home for a month and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is large enough for 3 couples to relax and have plenty of privacy. We took advantage of the pontoon boat for rent by the owners and enjoyed 2 wonderful days on the lake. We also went jet skiing at Lake Chatuge, hiking numerous times at Hemlock Hills, shopping in Highlands, NC and Helen and even found time for 2 days at the Kingswood Spa in Clayton. The owners, Diane and Bill, were delightful and very accommodating. They have stocked the home with everything you could ask for. This is the perfect place to escape the Florida heat and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the mountains and Lake Burton. Our favorite spot was on the covered porch off the dining room watching the hummingbirds drink the sugar nectar and listening to the band play at nearby LaPrade's Marina."
