  • Girls Getaway

"We have stayed at Halfway To Heaven for a week three times, and the four of us agree it is the best place in Rabun County to stay! The home is very well kept, with everything you need for an extended stay! We have a trip to Ingles before the drive up the day we arrive and could stay the entire week on the items the 4 of us get,but we venture out on the second day!! We do this each time we go.We all enjoy Rabun County and everything it has to offer. The great covered porch and decks have the most beautiful views of sunrises and mountains you will find in North Georgia.(Our ages range from 48 to 69)"

  • Well worth it!

"As other reviewers have stated this property is a great place to come and relax in the mountains and unwind. It is a nice private area and the views and property are top notch. The cabin has a nice layout with ample spaces and is well equipped/stocked. The owner is very nice and down to earth. Good people. Great place to come and see the local offerings such as Blackrock Mountain State park, Tallulah Gorge and the shops and restaurants on Main St. in Clayton. Also there is an Ingles grocery store close by when you come down from the mountain with everything you could need to bring some stuff back to the cabin and have a nice meal at "home". I recommend and would gladly return to this property in the future!"

  • Adequate for a quick weekend stay

"Rented for a quick weekend 2 night stay- two families- 9 people. We felt it was adequate for our needs. Cabin was in pretty good shape -some things updated, some things showing its age. Beautiful views the best part. Lacking in some larger utensils, sheets for fold out couches, towels(only two bath towels), trash bags, hairdryer, etc. Very minimal provisions. Just come prepared with what you need. The place we were supposed to take our trash was closed(Sunday). This needs to be better thought out. Loved being able to bring our dogs and they loved it too."
