  • Awesome !!

"My new favorite place to stay! This is the Get-a-away it says....so very quiet and charming. Love all the little extra's in the place to make it feel like home. Argus was our guide for our walk, which is the best waterfall anywhere. My dogs did great here. Can't wait to go back."

  • Well worth it!

"As other reviewers have stated this property is a great place to come and relax in the mountains and unwind. It is a nice private area and the views and property are top notch. The cabin has a nice layout with ample spaces and is well equipped/stocked. The owner is very nice and down to earth. Good people. Great place to come and see the local offerings such as Blackrock Mountain State park, Tallulah Gorge and the shops and restaurants on Main St. in Clayton. Also there is an Ingles grocery store close by when you come down from the mountain with everything you could need to bring some stuff back to the cabin and have a nice meal at "home". I recommend and would gladly return to this property in the future!"

  • We loved our stay at the cabin

"We had a great time at the cabin. It had everything we needed. The kitchen is fully equipped and well maintained. There are three true bedrooms, and 2 full size baths which made sleeping accommodations easy and comfortable. Wi-Fi is fast (which is rear) and some of us were able to do a little work too. Direct TV offers plenty of channels for the rainy days. But our favorites are the fireplaces: one in the living room and one in the covered patio. They are not the typical fireplaces, and reminded us a lot of the our grandma's firewood stove oven. We spent every evening of our stay around the fireplaces enjoying the warm flames with a great company, listening to the music of the creek, which is running very close to the cabin. We saw the stone slide and the little pool formed at the bottom of the slide, but did not attempt to swim (it was a little too cold for Floridians). The cabin is located close to Clayton (about 10-12 minutes) where you can find grocery stores and restaurants, there are horse riding places close to cabin (which we could not visit due to rain) and is only about 25 minutes drive from Tallulah Falls Gorge. This is the place to visit in Georgia. The views are unforgettable. We would definitely consider renting the cabin again when we come back to the Georgia Mountains."

  • Incredible home for any type of vacation!!!!!

"Wow! What a wonderful place! Thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful home and your fabulous boat with us!!!! The views of the lake and the location on the lake are incredible! We can't tell you how much fun we had and what a wonderful layout your home is! We had 10 kids and 9 adults, and we all were very, very comfortable!!!! There is so much space to spread out, and not be on top of each other! We actually would lose each other every once in a while, the house is so large! It was easy to be part of the crowd or have your own private time. The house couldn't have been more comfortable! We absolutely loved it!!! We hope you rent it for years to come... we would love to continue to come year after year! We enjoyed every living space of your home and visiting with our family! We cooked hamburgers on the biggest grill i've ever seen! We roasted marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace, while hanging out in the adirondack chairs! The kids loved the ping pong table and the bunk room! They hung up their Eno's in the woods, played everywhere and had so much fun with the canoe and the floats! We swam, we boated, we tubed. We went to sliding rock, some of our crazies jumped off the bridge off Hwy 76 into the lake! We played cards and games at the big dining room table, while others enjoyed the comfy furniture in the living room and the huge flat screen tv. I could just go on and on! It was an incredible vacation that we will enjoy in our minds for years to come! And hopefully make more great memories there! You obviously thought of everything, every detail from comfort and relaxing, to cooking, and having fun! Thank you for sharing your home with us!"
