  • Great cabin, quiet location but close to everything

"Cabin is just a minute drive from downtown Helen (could walk to town but there is a large hill so we drove to town). The area around the cabin is quiet and peaceful yet so close to all the activities in town. The deck has two rocking chairs and is partially covered making it perfect to sip coffee in the morning or to watch the rain fall. We loved the jacuzzi tub and the bed was fairly comfortable (nothing beats your own bed but my husband struggles trying to sleep in other beds and he slept well). Would definitely recommend this cabin to others and will be booking it again when we make our next trip to Helen."

  • A unique setting for a great family time

"Our family stayed for the second time at the double cabins on the river in June 2016 (first time was July 2014). Our ages ranged from 13 months to 67 years and once again we had a great time. The "park" area gave the generations something fun to do any time we weren't tubing on the river, and the location is excellent for people watching! Close enough to walk into town (shout out to Betty's for having nearly everything we forgot!), and we made friends yet again with another multi-time family in one of Tim and Cindy's other cabins. Tim and Cindy are great - they were always responsive to our questions, even if it was just "where's the best pizza in Helen" questions. If you get bored staying here, it's your own fault -- just explore the two cabins and you'll stay charmed!"

  • Perfect for a large group!

"I hosted a bachelorette weekend getaway here for a group of 9 ladies. The cabin was beautiful, clean, & convenient to Helen, GA (~10 minute beautiful drive!). We enjoyed the hot tub and doing yoga on the big deck. The kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes, pots and pans we needed, and a coffee pot. The only complaints I can think of we're that we didn't have aluminum foil, which we probably should have packed ourselves, and the Internet connection and cell phone reception was very poor, even when connected to the wifi. However, cell phone reception was an issue for all of us the entire trip in general, not just in the cabin. I would absolutely recommend this cabin and would stay here again."

  • Simply the best!

"If I could give a house more than five stars, I would do so for this beautiful home and vacation. First of all, the house is the coziness, most well appointed, welcoming home I have ever rented. My family of seven, 2 kids, 3 grandparents, 2 parents, all had plenty of room to spread out and also come together for games and meals. We prepared our own Thanks Giving meal in the kitchen, and the house came with absolutely everything we needed. We loved exploring the surrounding woods, river, and nearby farm. Due sure and look for the old water wheel! The home is tucked away into the woods and feels secluded, but attractions and stores and restaraunts are all nearby. It was amazing in the fall, and I hope to return in the summer to see it during a different season. Don't hesitate to rent this property! It is oerfection!"
