  • Cute Cabin

"Affordable and convenient to Helen. Perfect! The only thing I would add are steps into the hot tub. Being in our 50's it's a bit tricky and could pose a safety risk. We will definetly come back"

  • Beautiful cabin in the woods

"We throughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed during the stay. The only concern we had was some bugs and the hot tub did not have any chlorine tablets in it but we called and the situation was immediately resolved. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed Anna Ruby falls and walking around town"

  • Perfect!

"This cabin was everything as described, and everything we expected it to be. Close to town, yet had the feeling of privacy in the woods. We will definitely be staying here again on the next trip to Helen, and highly recommended! The owner was also a big help, and worked with us so thank you Tadd!"

  • Great location, fantastic size but needs updating

"First and foremost, the location and size of this place are great. It is just a short walk downhill and you are right in the middle of downtown Helen. No twisting switchback roads to get there, and you can easily walk into town for dinner, ice cream or to go shopping. Next, the house itself is huge. We had a group of eight ranging from 7 to 70 and everyone had plenty of room. The downstairs is like a small apartment with a small kitchen, living area and bedroom and bath. The upper floors have two queen rooms, a king room and a loft with a double and two twin beds. One could easily fit 10 plus folks very comfortably. The beds are nice and the family room was a focal point. Our kids also liked the pool table, though it is placed in a room that is too small for it. We made do. The drawback is that the place needs updating. The kitchen appliances and cabinets are old. There's one drawer which I never got completely opened. It would also be well served with improved lighting. The furniture was also a bit dated, which is ok, except for when you sink so deep into a sofa that you can't get up without assistance. We also had the hot water issue mentioned by a previous reviewer. We ran out one night which caused some consternation but it was not a problem if we paid attention and didn't run the dishwasher, washing machine and showers at the same time. We made use of the outside deck and the hot tub and had a great trip. Again, great location. Walk to town, short drive to Ruby Falls, Smithgall Woods, trout fishing, etc. Great size, plenty of room. The place just needs some care and updating to get to a five star rating."
