  • Perfect for Two

"The Pros: feels private, comfortable furniture and bed, 5 minutes from Unicoi (great hiking/running trails), 10 minutes from downtown Helen and several wineries, nice hot tub, fun foosball table, relatively large (and clean) bathroom, washer/dryer (although no detergent provided), easy-to-use gas fireplace, plenty of room in kitchen cabinets for storage of food and spices, nice wooded view from deck, no trace of dogs before us, and GA Mountain Rentals are a true pleasure to rent from The cons: a little stinky/damp upon arrival, found mouse poop on kitchen counter and in baking sheets, only one rocking chair on porch, and no dishwasher Overall we were pleased. It's the perfect little cabin for a couple with a dog, and it's in a great location - private, but not too far from town."

  • Charming & Cozy Cabin!

"We had a great time at this lovely little mountain retreat! Cindy was so kind and easy to work with when we booked the cabin and made some great recommendations for events and activities to check out as well as restaurants in the area to try. When we arrived, Tim was so warm and welcoming as he took us up to the cabin, explained all the features and where to find the things we needed, and answer any questions we had. The cabin itself has beautiful high ceilings that made it feel spacious and open. On the front porch there were rockers to enjoy while sipping your morning coffee and listening to all the birds wake up. It was so peaceful! Because it's a little off the beaten path (but still easily accessible and found!) you don't here traffic noises or late night party goers. The downstairs hot tub was so relaxing after a long day of hiking, ziplining, and exploring the area. The bed was comfy, the air conditioning worked great, and overall it was the perfect size for just the two of us. The hike up the hill in front of the property caught us off guard at first, but it's not too bad. The only difficulty we had was taking some of our stuff up thanks to odd shapes and sizes but walking up and down itself is doable. There's a lovely little creek out front as well which adds to the calm and peaceful atmosphere. I'd highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for some R&R and we will definitely return again!"
