  • Amazing View!!

"The Skyline Ridge Cabin Rental is unlike anything I've stayed at before. When we first drove up, we quickly understood the name Skyline Ridge as the cabin has a completely amazing view of the valley below along with several mountain ridges behind. Judy left us a nice welcome gift, to include some treats for our dog. Small things like that separate the owner and the cabin from many others--so, thank you. The bushes in front of the amazing view were filled with blackberries, which we picked for a breakfast addition both days. Advice to those interested-- Bring a dinner ready to cook, or have some food ready to grill when you first arrive. The fact that the closest grocery store is a 15 minute drive isn't the problem. Once you step onto the porch, you won't want to leave the view. So crack open the beer, pop the wine, and start enjoying. Then dinner is ready whenever you get tired of enjoying the reason you rented the cabin in the first place. Oh yeah, same thing applies for breakfast in the morning. Except for the beer and wine. Or, maybe not. Thanks again for the amazing visit."

"Thanks Brenda, for sharing your beautiful, tranquil, pristine, peaceful, clean cabin in the woods/ stunning GA mtns. The privacy was unbeatable! Thanks for being so patient with all our questions. By far our favorite rental. So much to detail, the extra linen, the ice cold mugs in the freezer, fully stocked kitchen and the room full of Windows made me feel like I was sitting in a tree house. The books, games, reading material etc. My tips to future renters would be only these FEW things. Know the stairs to upstairs are small so be extra careful and you need small trips to take luggage up them. . The Frig / ice maker like most makes loud noise periodically. if u are jumpy. And the road to cabin is a one lane dirt gravel Rd so in inclement weather be prepared, as well as a hill where u can't see another car coming so drive cautiously but this the pay off for privacy. There is a multi music player with karaoke but we had a hard time adjusting volume but we Were not sure how to use it and alarm went off early in the morning, so simple solution just unplug it . Not far from places to eat or grocery stores etc. lots of day tips which Brenda has provided plenty of brochures and reading material. We recommend eating at Brothers At Willow Ranch It was great! Be sure to bring camera . If you go Memorial weekend / week lots of places close which we were surprised. Memorial Day places should close but the rest of the week was a surprise but no problem at all for us. Never saw any snakes but Brenda even provides a hoe. Lol . Plenty of outdoor adventures! But I would recommend hitting local grocery store and just hang out at cabin and relax!!! LITTLE CELL PHONE RECEPTION NO JOKE SO OLD SCHOOL AND WRITE DOWN DIRECTIONS ETC but great to unplug! We will be back and with the response to my FB pictures, many want to visit so don't delay in booking this cabin. It's one you want to keep to yourself but know it's so great you have to share! THANK YOU BRENDA AND FAMILY FOR SHARING YOUR HOME!!!"

  • Peaceful and relaxing

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful mountain home. Every morning we enjoyed our coffee on the front porch with a view of the mountains and Lake Chatuge. You could hear the birds chirping and it was such a relaxing way to start your day. In the evening we watched the sunset with a glass of wine. This home is well equipped and it was the perfect place to call home!"

  • Absolutely perfect !!!!!

"We spent 7 amazing nights in this fabulous house. Every single thing about it is perfect. You IMMEDIATELY feel at home. Nothing has been overlooked. Rooms are huge. Kitchen has more supplies than I could ever dream of having in my own home. You can do as much or as little as you desire. Close enough to everything. We hiked, swam, rented a pontoon, shopped for antiques, went to a movie, and spent a day in Gatlinburg. A couple of days we did nothing but relax. We could have easily spent 7 days rocking on the huge patio staring at the amazing mountain/ lake view. Rental price absolutely cannot be beat! Easily worth double the price. Tons of games, books, wifi, cable, huge grill on huge deck, beautiful private porch. Words alone will never do this property justice."
