"A+ all the way around. We stayed for 5 nights and the house and area are simply one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, and I've been all over the world. The pictures do not do the house and lake justice. The house is awesome. Huge open windows and floor plan with decks on each floor and its own personal dock. The kids loved swimming right of the dock and we brought our own stand up paddleboards and you have to try really hard to find a better place to have a lake and mountain vacation in the world. The owners are responsive and for the price this is one of the best deals in the area. The house has everything you need. Instantly felt like a home upon arrival. The house is well equipped, beds comfortable, and it even has a ping pong table in the garage. Check out Consolidated Gem Mining in nearby Dahlonega and one of the many whitewater rafting spots also within an hour or so. Ingles is right in town for groceries and lots of little local restaurants to check out. We'll definitely be back again. Ignore the one somewhat negative review. The stairs to the dock are not steep at all, and have railings all the way down. The floor plan of the house is not strange at all. No idea what these people were talking about."

  • Beautifully decorated and equipped for a extended stay!

"This was a wonderful experience. The cabin offered everything you would need for a extended stay away from home. Each room was beautifully decorated in such a cute cabin feel. It was very clean and the book that was left helped us to know what was around us to see and eat. This was definitely one of our favorite places we have ever stayed. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!"

  • Peaceful & Cozy Labor Day Weekend Family Trip

"We loved, loved, loved this beautifully decorated cabin in the woods. From the time we arrived, we knew it was going to be a wonderful escape. All of the pictures are exactly to the "T" and the other reviews are 100% truth. Once you stay here, you will not want to go back to reality. Nancy called to check make sure we had everything needed and didn't have any problems.....That's a super +++ This cabin has everything you could possibly need for a family get away to the mountains! We were supposed to go tubing in Helen the first day but upon arrival we decided to just stay at the cabin and enjoy nature. The kids had a blast playing in the creek and just walking around the property. The next day (Sunday) we rented a pontoon boat on Lake Chatuge - which is about 15 miles away in Hiawassee. The house is beautifully decorated and very neat. I would love to come back in the late fall to enjoy the beautiful change of scenery and crisp cool nights/mornings in the North Georgia Mountains."

  • A Home away from home that is better than home!

"This is our third stay in this property in the past 13 months. It is an awesome home with three en suite bathrooms for privacy for up to three couples. It includes all of the amenities you could ask for and is in great shape. It has a huge deck much of which is covered that looks beautifully out on the Lake. Washer/Dryer pantry, all of the dishes, cookware, towels and linens that you may need. Close to shopping, dining etc but private and quiet with a large circular drive that will accommodate several cars. Close to hiking, fishing and boating. Great area for Motorcycle riding and antiquing. We find it a great get away yet it is just an hour to Franklin, Two hours to Asheville and about an hour and a half to Atlanta. Split between 3 couples the rent is much less than hotel rooms or in some cases even campgrounds. We have already booked for next year to return."
