  • White Pines Cabin Near Hiawassee

"Beautiful cabin and mountain views. Very comfortable and clean. Comes with a balcony on each floor for viewing the mountains, a gas fireplace, pool table, and everything else for a relaxing stay. There was a small ladybug problem in the cabin. After googling this problem, I learned this is an ongoing thing that affects most cabins in the mountain areas. They are hard to get rid of. The third bedroom was located downstairs in the pool room. It was like a small downstairs apartment. My daughter really loved it. But she did complain regarding the coldness downstairs. We were there between Christmas and New Years. The temperatures dropped in to the 40's at night. We couldn't seem to get the heat to work downstairs. It may have been turned off or not working. Besides that, we truly enjoyed our relaxing stay. There really isn't much to do in Hiawassee and Helen is a tourist attraction. Driving through the mountains is scary, but you get used to it. There are plenty of places to hike and view the beautiful waterfalls. This is the place to be for true relaxation."

  • Great spot!

"We really enjoyed our one month stay on the lake. Kevin is a great host and promptly addressed any minor issues we had. We will definitely return and highly recommend this beautiful rental on the Lake Chatuge."

  • Nice clean home away from home 😊

"Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home. The house was spotless and had everything we needed from plenty of towels to all the pots pans and dishes one could need. Our bed (the master bedroom) was very comfy and the den was so spacious. We sure hope to come back again one day 😊"

  • A Heavenly View

"Our family (four adults, three children) spent Thanksgiving weekend at the chalet. It was homey, clean and well stocked with linens, pillows and kitchen ware. The kids enjoyed the game room on the first floor and hiking the area. My favorite was the view from the second floor. The photo's doesn't do the view justice! It is incredible!! The chalet is almost mountain top but convenient to town and the grocery store. The second floor great room with an open living room and kitchen area gives plenty of family time and space. It has one bedroom, bathroom and game room down stairs and living room. kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms upstairs. Porches run across the front on both floors with grills ready to use. Shari was very easy to work with and answered all my questions timely. I would recommend this chalet. Looking forward to returning in the future!"
