  • It was very clean and worked perfectly for our froup if 11.

"we really enjoyed our stay. The steps to the lake was difficult I will admit, especially coming back up, but other than that, it was perfect for our group of 11. The outside deck makes you feel like you are in the tops of the trees. Beautiful and shaded. Owners were very responsive when we had a small problem with the refrigerator."

  • Nice place for family vacation.

"The home was very lovely and the owner was very accommodating. The one negative thing about the property was the pathway down to the dock which was dangerous, expecially for small children and the elderly. The dock was nice and the kids enjoyed the rope swing and fishing. We had a nice visit. Linda"

  • Wonderful place for a family vacation!

"We loved everything about this home. The many bedrooms allowed for our married children to join us as well as my parents. We had 11 staying at various parts of the week. Because the house is only an hour or so from Atlanta, it made for an easy retreat, without the many hours on the road that it would have taken to get to an ocean/beach. The lake is lovely and pretty peaceful here. We spent hours swimming off the dock. Most restaurants are about 20 minutes drive away, but the kitchen is well equipped for cooking and there is a Publix nearby. We especially appreciated the second coffee maker. We loved the pool table and ping pong as well as the many board games in the closets and cupboards. The lot is very steep, but the steps down to the dock make the trek very manageable. There were many good trees for hanging ENO hammocks. There is lovely original artwork throughout the home as well as shelves and shelves of interesting books. These extra touches made it feel very homey and welcoming. We would highly recommend this home for family vacations."
