  • Beautiful spacious home with all the perks.

"We just completed our stay at Bluewaters cottage. The house is beautifully appointed with every amenity possible. We were 9 adults and 2 toddlers, yet we had plenty of room. The large kitchen/living area made it possible for all of us to hang out, cook and eat together. The spacious patio was also a great asset (and my family loves playing ping pong!!) The walk down to the water is a bit steep and although our toddlers made it holding hands, we did have an older couple that could not and we had to pick them up at the local marina to get on the boat that we rented. We all live in Florida and all have pools, yet we all loved swimming in the lake, both at the house dock area and off the boat. The water was so refreshing! There are also loads of water floats and 2 kayaks at the dock. In summary, this is a great house and location (shopping only 10 minutes away). We could have easily stayed longer!!"

  • Excellent place!!

"This home was simply amazing! When my husband and I walked in the front door to see the stunning two story staircase and see the view from the Billard room or the massive deck and gorgeous view of the lake. No matter which bedroom you were looking from you could see the lake. As we walked along the path to the lake you could see and hear the birds and the wind in the trees. While fixing our dinner in the gourmet kitchen and eating it in the oversized dining room! I would gladly stay here again! It was a wonderfully gorgeous home and great time. Weather you need space for 2 or 40 this home is spacious enough for everyone! We were not able to get out on the lake but the gazebo/boat dock was very nice and spacious. This home didn't feel like a rental, it was well taken care of, very clean with plenty of towels and bedding. I would rent this home again."

  • Beautiful

"The neighborhood is quiet and the water is right there through the window. It is 180 degrees of serene beauty from the front window views! The beds are comfortable and the air and heating worked great when needed."

  • Good property in a beautiful location

"PROS: The property matched the description and met our expectations. Overall, our group enjoyed staying here. It was the right size for nine adults, and the views and the house were beautiful. CONS: It's about ten minutes to the nearest main road, about 15-20 minutes to the nearest grocery store, and about 20-30 minutes to the outlet mall. So it's more of a place you would go if you wanted to stay for a while and relax. The roads getting to the house are hilly and curvy, so it's not a quick drive to get out of the neighborhood. You could not comfortably park more than 3-4 cars in the driveway (no street parking - it's a one-way street). One recommendation - make sure to bring the essentials if you are staying many nights or have a lot of people. We needed more toilet paper and paper towels. Additionally, we had to buy basics like laundry detergent and salt/pepper for the kitchen. Finally, there is a small fenced area for dogs, which is great. However, there's not a lot of grass there (mostly leaves and dirt), and it also looks like there may have been leftover construction/renovation materials in that area, too. We did not feel comfortable leaving our dogs there unattended for any length of time. (FYI, you have to trigger the upstairs flood light on the patio next to the kitchen before you go outside in order to have light in the fenced area.) From another tenant about the same stay: "Beautiful scenery and walking places along the road and lake. Would like a few more mixing bowls, measuring cups/spoons, and large casserole dishes. Liked the kitchen and large countertop. Would like to be able to raise the temperature a little higher - I think they only said no higher than 68? Loved the basketball game downstairs. Gated dog area trashy. Nice large dining room table seated 9 easily. Would be nice to have more dish soap, laundry detergent, and paper towels, since we had to drive so far to get these items.""
