  • Nice place for family vacation.

"The home was very lovely and the owner was very accommodating. The one negative thing about the property was the pathway down to the dock which was dangerous, expecially for small children and the elderly. The dock was nice and the kids enjoyed the rope swing and fishing. We had a nice visit. Linda"

  • Family getaway

"This was our first time at this nice lake house and we had a wonderful time! It helped that the weather was PERFECT everyday, but the setting was lovely! I am an early riser and it was was so nice to look out the back windows and see the gorgeous sunrise every morning! We had the whole family of 7 with us plus the dog and we had plenty of room for each to have their own bedrooms and lots of bathrooms. It was nice to have such a big couch in the family room also so that we could all sit and watch some tv at night together. The kitchen was big enough to move around in and had enough equipment as we ate in every night but one. - the dishwasher was very loud so we didn't use it much. There was a grocery store (Kroger) about 15 min drive) nearby to load up. We went to one restaurant called the Ridge which was very nice and a short jaunt one exit down on 400. The best part was the big dock were we could all hang out and float around and the dog LOVED to jump in and thought he was more human than dog! Our brother had a boat for us to use and it was so nice to pull into the dock and be covered. It wasnt too far from Lake Lanier Islands (about 15 min boat ride) where you could rent paddle boards and kayaks also. We also enjoyed walking the neighborhood - you can make a big loop around in about 15min. - FYI there are a few hills though....good workout! And there are about 50-60 steps down to the dock so it wouldn't work for those who have disabilities. Great fire pit area - although we only had one fire - the rest of the nights it was too hot and the mosquitoes were biting! Loved the big swings - great for rocking babies! And my husband and sons enjoyed the hot tub! We would definitely like to come back in the future!"

  • Great house & location

"The house is close to town and has a great central location on the lake. At the end of a cul de sac of a pretty row of houses. Master (California King bed) with master bath is on the main level along with a second bedroom (Queen bed) and bathroom in the hallway for general use or for that room's occupants. Upstairs are bedrooms #3 (Queen bed) and #4 (2 twin beds) with a jack and jill bathroom connecting them. Walk-out basement has a futon in an open game room that also has a pool table and TV. The 5th bedroom is also down in the basement with a single bed and is fine but a bit desolate towards the back across from the 4th bathroom. Dryer in the laundry room is ancient and I don't think it really works but who really wants to do laundry on vacation? Living room on the main level is super comfy with plenty of room for everyone. Views were beautiful. Deck was great. FYI- The treehouse is useless- old musty smell and look inside didn't make it a hangout for the kids."

  • Great location and home

"Only my second lake vacation and first on lake Lanier this house was fantastic both from location and friendliness factor. The neughbors were great, volleyball net provided the kids some late day fun after boating and really convenient for that quick run into town for supplies. Would definitely recommend"
