  • Felt like a Vacation home away from home.

"I must start first with the owner/manager Susan,A+++++! Very fast professional communication. Responses with in minutes. Which was great because I was booking the night before arrival. Very helpful with directions, check in process and things to do and visit. The Cabin is lovely. It may look small from the outside but is very spacious. Large open floor plan that feels so comfortable. The kitchen is open to the living room for seamless entertaining. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nice sized and very clean. The cabin is perfectly decorated. It really gives you a outdoorsy mountain feel. One huge plus about this cabin is that it is equipped with everything you can think of and then some. From a fully stocked kitchen to completely full linen closet. We felt at home. The cabin is nestled in the woods. There are neighbors but off in the distance. The deck is awesome. It expands the entire rear of the cabin. With rocking chairs and a sweet hot tub, we spent a lot of our time enjoying the outdoors on it. There is a opening break in between the trees to see Yonah mountain. We were so lucky that we booked during a meteor shower. Saw quiet a few shooting stars. The cabins is in between Cleveland and Alpine Helen. Helen is a nice place to go and make a day out of it. One piece of advice, make sure you shop and get all the groceries in Cleveland. There is a convenience store close by. But it is very expensive. We loved our weekend and we are looking forward to visit lone wolf again."

  • Thanksgiving get away

"This was a great experience and peaceful for my family & I - We are VERY happy we found this cabin. Is away from the congested city, It is quiet next to a small creek of water that you hear the sounds all day & nature all around. The house is well equipped with games for the family game nights next to the fireplace & a full kitchen to even host a party! I would definitely recommend this to anyone that want to scape."

  • Wonderful weekend in the mountains!

"Pine Poles is a lovely mountain getaway which more than exceeded our expectations for a comfortable, relaxing retreat. The unique property combines a charming 100 year old log cabin with a beautifully designed and furnished modern home. The owner is most gracious and helpful, and she has decorated the cabin with a tasteful country flair including her own remarkable art and her collection of ceramics and twig and inlay furniture. We enjoyed the privacy of the setting, the beautiful landscaping and wonderful wrap around porch - just right for whiling away an evening. Loved visiting the owner's art gallery and other charming shops in the Lakemont Village. The location is perfect for exploring the north Georgia mountains - near Lakes Rabun, Seed and Burton, as well as Clayton, Tallulah Gorge, and so much more. We wish we could have stayed longer and can't wait to return!"

  • Modern, well appointed cabin exceeded expectations

"The first thing I thought upon entering the cabin was 'This place is a lot nicer than the pictures!'. After picking rooms (the master suite is amazing, btw), my friends and I settled in to games of ping pong, pool, hiking the nearby Talullah Gorge, cooking meals in the modern kitchen, relaxing in the hottub, and even some great star-gazing. Since we stayed here over New Years', we we able to watch a few college football games on the gigantic projection tv in the downstairs rec-room. Although we didn't get the chance to try, life-size Mario-Kart or Smash-Brothers or Rock-Band on the projection tv would be truly amazing! Long story short, my friends and I barely scratched the surface of the possbilies for things to do here. Tons of things for everybody to do and conveniently located for traveling up from Atlanta, this place has it all!"
