  • Loved the look of the log cabin

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is so beautiful. Because we had so much going on, I just wish that we had more time to stay there!!"

  • Multi Family Vacationers

"We loved our stay at the River House! We were 12 between three families. There was plenty of room for all of us inside and outside the home. We fully enjoyed being next to the river; we fished, floated, crawfish hunted, had a campfire and just enjoyed the tranquility of the river sounds. The pool table, hot tub, hammock, and porch swing amentities were great. The house is conveniently located by the cute town of Blue Ridge, tubing, rafting, horse back riding and more. The owner was great and friendly, there was a small mechanical issue with the hot tub and the owner took care of it right away. The home does seem to have well water, being seasoned campers it did not bother us but if you prefer city water bring some bottled water. We had lots of fun and can't wait to go back. Thank You!!!"

  • A wonderful place to refresh the soul

"Visiting from Miami, we checked-in August 4th to August 6th the property was description was accurate the location was just what we wanted (fantastic) only needed to bring toothbrush & toothpaste everything was provided. The cabin was very clean, my wife suffers from allergies and was very satisfied with the cabin (especially the bathrooms), fishing poles, seating in the front porch swing relaxing looking into the serene wooded areas was just heavenly. Directions to the cabin and access to the cabin, where to go and things to do in the surrounding area were made easier by the owner. A small seesaw in the yard, large gas grill, basement one bed room with bunk-bed, video games, DVD movies and ping-pong table, flat screen cable TV was more than enough to keep our kids entertained. After a long day of hiking (hiking poles provided), relaxing by the huge fireplace reading all the Appalachian Trail Conservatory, Handyman and Southern Living magazines hit the spot. Visiting Blairsville and Dahlonega restaurants was quite enjoyable, towns folk were all very inviting. Be prepared for the 15 mph winding roads my wife got motion sickness, Yes, we plan to return and recommend you go."

  • Family Time

"Just wanted to let you know we had a fantastic time at your cabin this past weekend. We met my brothers family from southern GA there to celebrate his 30th and my niece's 5th birthdays. The cabin was perfect. Everything we needed was right there. The kitchen is so well stocked with cooking and eating utensils and appliances. On Friday several of us went tubing. We put in at the camp ground up the road and leisurely floated down to the cabin about 2.5 hrs! Fun fun even if it rained on us a few times. The rest of the time we just relaxed and caught up with family time. The beds were so comfortable and the whole cabin was very clean. We used the ping pong table alot. Most cabins we've rented had a pool table but ping-pong is much more our style. :) One eve. we made a camp fire in the fire pit outside and spent time on the deck down by the river reading. Thanks for all the little touches you put there to make our stay comfortable. The Millers"
