  • Great Family Trip

"Family trip with 4 adults and 4 kids - plenty of room for everyone with separate downstairs living/kitchen/sleeping area. The cabin was very clean. Most of our time was spent on the dock fishing in the lake. Close to nice hiking and biking trails."

  • Awesome Setting

"I stayed at this house with 3 friends from out of town for a guys golf weekend. The setting and the view were incredible. It is convenient to the marina and downtown area. Brasstown Valley was an amazing golf course. We even learned how to play Pickleball on the new 14-court Pickleball complex. Would definitely stay there again."

"We have stayed twice during the fall months including the Thanksgiving Holidays. The first time we went, we were wondering what the catch was going to be as everything just seemed to be too good to be true. A motel room cost way more that this cabin. Well, I won't repeat everything in the other reviews, but to say that every one on them was correct. We've stayed in other VRBO rentals but this one's amenities beat all the others by far. Wonderful mountain views while relaxing on the porches and even resting in the recliner in living room looking out the window. Our little Yorkie loved to run and play on the porches. Ms. Pat even provided everything our Maggie needed like feeding bowls, blankets, and even provider her with a bag of treats. We are big Alabama football fans, so Saturdays in the fall are spent in front of the TV enjoying all the games that day. We especially enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and the firewood was even furnished. Wow! I enjoyed the nearby casino a few hours most days. We ate out everyday at some very good restaurants like Doyle's, The Chophouse, and Rib Country in nearby Murphy. There is lots to see nearby but so far we haven't ventured out yet. Just love this peaceful retreat at the Moose Crossing Cabin. Will definitely will be calling to make another reservation soon. Would love to see some snow."

  • Beautiful, well-maintained cabin with wonderful view

"We have stayed at quite a few cabins in our 42 years of marriage, but none have been as well stocked as "Grin and Bear It". Pots, pans, muffin tins, Kurig coffee maker with the k cups, fryer, etc. Every room had a beautiful view and was very neat and clean. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and body wash. The pool table and hot tub are well maintained. Larry emailed to check on us and make sure everything was to our liking. We ate out at Willow Brothers Restaurant and the steaks were great. There is an Ingles and Walmart nearby for groceries. We saw 7 deer and a rabbit while we were there in the area, three of which came on the property. To say I didn't want to leave is an understatement."
