"This cabin is just beautiful. In a wonderful neighborhood which is a breeze to travel to ( all paved roads from downtown BLAIRSVILLE) and a very scenic drive too. We had so many options to visit near by attractions that Ruth had all the write ups on ( great list of must visits while staying in the area) but we also enjoyed sitting on the enormous back deck taking in the gorgeous views. You won't find a better value than this cabin in the BLAIRSVILLE area!!! We loved the neighborhood so much we now are looking to buy in this development ( buying a lot to build our future retirement cabin) Again, this is a fantastic deal for all that the area offers and how nice the home is!!! Thanks again Ruth and Jim for all your help with all the fun attractions to visit in the area.. you all have a piece of heaven here!! JB ( Tarpon Springs Florida)"

  • Adult Sunday School weekend

"This was one of two properties our Sunday School class rented for the weekend. Five of us stayed in the townhouse and we absolutely loved it. The rooms were spacious and inviting. The location was lovely with a partial lake view and full view of beautiful trees and the North Georgia mountains. We had all the amenities that we needed. Our group is already talking about coming back up again next fall and adding another day to the retreat."

  • Tranquil and Private "Change of Pace"

"My wife and I stayed at the "Change of Pace" for a long weekend Anniversary getaway. The home was perfect, well equipped and very nicely decorated. The location was ideal as well. Just 6 miles from Vogel State Park. Also just a short drive to Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia. The German-style town of Helen is 30 minute scenic drive away. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was a solid wireless internet connection. The firepit outside already had plenty of firewood available for our stay and there was plenty more to be purchased nearby. The owner, Maureen, was easy to communicate with also. We would recommend this house to any family looking for a peaceful getaway."

  • Brought our infant grandbabe and it was WONDERFUL!

"Hubby and I were up to Young Harris for a seminar for him, but we brought our infant granddaughter along for our joy and her parents' rest. She loved the views and the leaves. We did the walk at Lake Chatuge, which the owner recommended and gave us directions to, and it was amazing! The beds were comfortable, the view exceptional, the kitchen enjoyable to cook in, the deck was great (morning and night), the proximity to Crane Creek Vineyard was a huge plus, nice area for a walk, quiet. It had a very spacious feel to it. It was very clean. I appreciated that. The owner made our reserving a breeze with no problems, and answered all questions timely and helpfully. We can't wait to come back! I left her directions to Lake Chatuge in the Guest Book, so look for them there! ;>D"
