  • Keep this place a secret or tell everyone you love?

"When I drove up to the Little Blue House I got out of the car and just stood there looking at the most perfect cabin tucked in a beautiful spot with not one but two babbling brooks running through the property. I couldn't believe my luck and pondered whether like a good mechanic or the bar that makes the best cocktails if I would tell no one or share with only those people I hold near and dear. It was only me and my dog but the cabin easily can accomodate a family, kids and dogs. It's secluded and private for anyone that just wants to retreat for awhile with a good book and glass of wine, but also near enough to lots of outdoor activities and shopping/restaurants etc....if your family wants to be more active. Karin was so nice and brought me a single person kayak which I never used because I barely left the property. The kitchen is great everything you need if you want to prepare meals. Beds are comfortable...I think my favorite spot was the daybed on the wide front porch. I took the best naps I've had in years there. I can't say enough nice things about my trip and the cabin. THANK YOU, Karin!"

  • Wonderful trip

"The pictures do not do this cabin justice, it is beautiful! Although there are neighboring homes, there is privacy from woods between properties. We had a very laid back, relaxing trip, but there is plenty to do in the area (hiking, tubing, shopping, horseback rides, and zip lines to name a few) If you didn't want to go out, the cabin had horseshoe game in yard, pool table in house, games for kids, a nice fire pit out back as well as our favorite part...the back porch with hot tub to relax, but also sitting areas to relax and watch tv or listen to radio while you grilled, or go around to side porch to watch sunset. There was plenty of space in the rooms, and the beds were very comfortable (loved the different headboard carvings) We would definitely stay here again!"

  • perfect setup for two couples wanting privacy or large family

"This cabin is beautiful, with large walkout porches on two levels. Nicely and comfortably furnished. Plenty of space to stretch out. Just a few minutes from nice restaurants in Clayton or Dillard. Very clean and comfortable."

  • A quiet get away from the daily routine.

"We enjoyed our 5 day escape from the routine of our busy life. Most of our time was spent on the deck; reading, playing cards, listening to the creek. We were prepared to eat most of our meals at the cabin. The grill was used for our first two dinners, & the leftover hot coals roasted marshmallows to perfection. We left paradise to visit the new casino in Murphy, NC, & Crane Creek Vineyards. Both were enjoyable destinations. Brenda gave precise directions to get to, and into the cabin. The cabin was clean & equipped with everything, except food, that we needed. We appreciated our time in this beautiful setting."
