  • Thanksgiving at the lake

"Tipsy Ridge was beautiful as advertised. Our whole family had a wonderful time. The house was stocked with most everything we needed. The view just lovely.A great big thank you to our hosts for a memorable week at the lake."

"We found this cabin on the river and hoped it would be ok while in town to go visit University of N GA in Dahlonega. It was perfect! Loved the curvy mountain drive on the beautiful road leading to The River House! The steep driveway made us get out and scratch our heads before going down! HA! You can sit on the deck and here the river the entire time. We had a bonfire and made s'mores at the firepit area! My daughter enjoyed her college tour and we enjoyed the adventure we made out of the weekend even more! THANKS FOR A GREAT STAY!!! I've already recommended it to friends and we will definitely be back!"

  • A unique setting for a great family time

"Our family stayed for the second time at the double cabins on the river in June 2016 (first time was July 2014). Our ages ranged from 13 months to 67 years and once again we had a great time. The "park" area gave the generations something fun to do any time we weren't tubing on the river, and the location is excellent for people watching! Close enough to walk into town (shout out to Betty's for having nearly everything we forgot!), and we made friends yet again with another multi-time family in one of Tim and Cindy's other cabins. Tim and Cindy are great - they were always responsive to our questions, even if it was just "where's the best pizza in Helen" questions. If you get bored staying here, it's your own fault -- just explore the two cabins and you'll stay charmed!"

  • Very nice stay! Would go again for certain!

"My wife and I stayed at this cabin for a few days several weeks ago. It's a very nice, private and cozy place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly enjoy going again sometime soon. The only con is the road in; it's really rough! I mean REALLY ROUGH!! I'm glad we decided to drive our truck rather than a car. Keep that in mind if your planning to go and check with the caretakers to see if the road has been recently filled and grated. If not, take the truck, you'll need it!"
