  • Tough to beat!

"I conducted a business off-site meeting with a group of 6 people. To make it short: we could not have chosen a better place. First of all, the host: Kelly is one of the most responsive and professional persons I know. Communication regarding some of the details before or during our stay was like a walk in park. You ask a question, you get the answer shortly after. Secondly, the house: Very luxurious, plenty of rooms, bathrooms and space in general - including one of the best views in Big Canoe. There are two large decks, one including a screened in corner. The kitchen is very well equipped, not short of anything. The “open” kitchen concepts insures great socializing while preparing food or making the dishes. The internet connection was very good as well. Overall we were very pleased. Thank You."

  • A perfect place for multiple generations!

"This was our second trip to Heaven, and we plan to go again! We have four generations when we all get together and this is the perfect place. Accommodates all ages. The kids hang out downstairs with games, pool table and ping pong. It is a beautiful walk to the lake, pool and natural water slide. The path also connects to other trails for hiking. We have taken in an Atlanta Braves game and this time we explored the Consolidated Mines, which was great. The men say the golf course is one of the most beautiful they have ever played. The rest of the time we spent quality time together as a family in a beautiful setting."

  • Better Than Advertised!

"Joanne -- We absolutely loved your place! It was perfect for our family's getaway. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very well-equipped. We had five adults (me, my wife, my daughters, my son-in-law) and my three granddaughters (two five-year olds and a two year old). When we first arrived, I assumed we would spend a lot of time in the beautiful family room on the lower level. It is so comfortable and very conducive to watching the Olympics. But then the first night, we all slowly gravitated to the large screened-in porch. And from the part forward, that was where we gathered. We never took advantage of the many televisions and comfy chairs inside, but fell in love with the gentle breezes and wind chimes on the porch. It is a great four season house! Thanks for your wonderful hospitality."

  • Wonderful vacation home for large family

"This well appointed large home with spectacular views met all the expectations for our yearly family reunion of 12 with five children ranging in age from 10 to 17. The amenities available at Big Canoe and the surrounding area offered so many different choices of activities that everyone wants to return again. However, I am disappointed that in the 30 days since our return home, I have not yet received the "fully refundable security deposit" of $350."
