  • Natural beauty

"This cabin is beyond beautiful! The open concept and large windows over looking the lake is spectacular. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked with everything you would need. I love the touches of "home" with the large, super soft blankets to relax on the couches. The cabin is very close to town and was easy to access. I can't say enough about our stay or this cabin except that is was PERFECT! Tiffany was awesome to work with and I will definitely be back. I love, love, love this cabin. Merry Christmas to all!"

  • Beautiful, chic house

"We did a quick, weekend getaway to this house. Being brand new to VRBO, there were no reviews yet but it was so pretty, we couldn't resist. The house is really delightful. The design is so gorgeous, there are fun things to enjoy in every nook and room. Many lovely details, like hooks everywhere to hang jackets and bags, pretty soaps and mini-shampoos, a hair dryer, really nice towels and linens. There were plenty of supplies like trash bags, dish soap, etc. which isn't always the case at VRBO houses. It's small but feels roomy due to great layout. And we loved the light-painted walls and ceiling. A nice alternative to most mountain cabins, which are dark and woody. The only negative thing I'll say is this house isn't great if you care a lot about privacy. Wherever you are in the house, you can hear everybody else! And the floors/stairs are pretty creaky. In addition, both bathroom doors aren't ideal--the downstairs bathroom door is kind of tight, which makes closing it all the way pretty loud -- not good in the middle of the night. And the upstairs bathroom door is a really beautiful old sliding barn door. The only problem is it slides open unless you place it just so. Just some things to be aware of but they were not a big deal to us. Mary was very responsive after we signed up for the house, sending us instructions and a short list of her favorite hikes, and once we were in the house, we were able to text with a few questions we had. Also, she had very minimal cleaning/shutdown instructions for us upon checkout, which also isn't always the case with VRBO cabins. So it felt very easy and laid back. Recommend!"

  • Relaxing and peaceful

"The stay on the lake was wonderful. We had so much fun. We loved the peaceful and outdoors . We loved it so much were thinking about coming in the summer. We loved being able to cook right there and having the fireplace and fire pit was a added bonus. Only thing that next time we will have is a longer stay. If you are thinking about this type of place do it."

  • Perfect vacation cabin!

"We just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay! Wish it could have been longer, but this cabin is so awesome, it is always booked ! When we arrived we met Mike. He & his wife Sharon own this cabin & the beautiful property. Great guy, easy to talk to ! The view from this cabin is stunning! Words cannot do it justice. There are beautiful, peaceful walking trails along the lake. The owners share the entire property with you to enjoy it's beauty ! This cabin is secluded, but only about 15 minutes from either Ellijay or Blue Ridge. You should visit both quaint towns ! You cannot come here and not fall in love with the spacious, well stocked, comfortable, beautiful cabin, and then comes Buster & Dixie ! The sweetest and very polite dogs of Mike & Sharon. They hung out with us every day & night and we looked so forward to seeing them. Buster is your own private trailblazing tour guide through the trails! We left very early the morning we checked out & Buster was there and just sat on the front porch watching us drive off, not leading the way as he had done previously. He touched our hearts so deeply, we were quite weepy for a long time. This cabin is a must ! Each season has different things to do, so book early and go !! We can guarantee you will not be disappointed ! We look very forward to our return !!"
