  • Amazing location, tidy, comfortable

"Had a great weekend with friend here, we had a group of six and the size was comfortable. Place is well-stocked and tidy. It's right next to an entrance to the Benton McKaye trail, which was very convenient, we could walk right up without using our cars. The general area is very sweet and pretty, feels tucked away in the forest in a small community of log cabins. Would stay here again."

  • Three Days Were Not Enough!

"We arrived on a cold, overcast March afternoon for our sister's 70th birthday. It started to snow as my brother tried to cook hamburgers on the grill- they were a burnt up mess. We choked them down and then retreated to the great room. It became a night filled with laughs, games and reminisces. The house has a personality of it's own-each room had a theme from the fox's den to the bear cave. My personal favorites were the two fireplaces, I'm not sure if they provided much heat- but they were awesome to cuddle up to. The kitchen provided everything you need. I'm not much of a cook, but there were utensils that a Top Chef could use. It snowed everyday that we were there. The Birthday girl loves the mountains, she felt that the snow and the house were a gift from God- God provided the snow, the rest of us chipped in for the house! We voted to come back in the summer when we can swing and rock on the porches. We will definitely be louder on our next visit!"
