  • Beautiful Cabin in a Great Location!

"My family and some friends came to the area to do some hiking, whitewater rafting and for an overall getaway. This cabin was perfect for our needs. There was plenty of room for my party of 11 people (including enough bathrooms!), and its close proximity to grocery stores, Mercier Orchards and Amicalola Falls State Park was ideal. The cabin was VERY clean, nicely decorated and well stocked. We were able to grill on the great large back deck with its incredible views and the kids enjoyed the game room area on the lower level. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cabin Fever and wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay here again!"

  • What a great place

"We spent the Easter weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The property is very clean and have all the amenities that you need to have a very relaxing vacation. Nice area to go for walks, or sit outside under the trees or in the comfortable enclosed patio and unwind. Very convenient to Downtown Blue Ridge, and Ellijay. Look forward to another stay."

  • Summer time at Hid 'N' Timber

"We stayed with our family at Hid 'N' Timber for a week in the summer and it was absolutely perfect. There was enough room for 10 adults and especially the outside areas were fantastic during the summer. A beautiful deck for a morning coffee, the fire pit area for the evenings, plenty of room to play games and a large kitchen for cooking. The area is nice and quiet and you really feel like you are away from it all, while you can get to Blue Ridge in 10-15 minutes. The lake access is fine, but not great if you want to hang out at the water all day, but you can drive to Morganton (15-20 min), and there is a really nice beach area there. Matt was very responsive to my emails and texts prior to arrival but also during our stay. I would highly recommend this place."

  • A Refreshing Retreat

"Heavenly Hideaway IS Heavenly We rented the cabin for a family reunion, and it was perfect for our needs. The pictures actually don’t do it justice, which is always a pleasant surprise when renting sight unseen. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the shared gathering room is large enough for several people, but it isn’t too large to be cozy. The different levels really suited our family’s needs, with the kids having plenty of lower-level space. The kitchen is well equipped and included basic things such as trash bags and paper towels which I brought along, not knowing what to expect. We took full advantage of the hot tub, and relaxed on the huge porch’s rockers. Pulling a boat trailer and arriving after dark, we found the road was a bit dark and scary and we missed a turn. I’d definitely recommend a daytime arrival! Our French guest was completely charmed by the rustic beauty of the cabin and its wooded lot, and delightfully exclaimed that she felt like she was in a movie about the American frontier. Overall, we found Heavenly Hideaway to be clean, comfortable, and cozy, just exactly what we needed for our family escape."
