  • we really enjoyed the mountain view cabin

"My wife and I just wanted to get away somewhere quiet with beautiful views and a very comfortable environment. This place definitely fit that! We enjoyed late morning breakfast in the screened porch and exploring the local nature trails and falls that were within a short driving distance. Also there is a nice lake -- Lake Blueridge which was very picturesque nearby. The pictures and description of the home amenities were exactly as described. My only warning to other vacationers is make sure you drive a car with decent ground clearance for the gravel drive up to the cabin -- especially if it was snowing or raining. We made it up and down the gravel drive consistently, but I would have felt much better with a SUV or a 4 wheel drive vehicle with a bit of clearance. Luckily we were here in the summer when it didn't rain or snow -- so the uneven gravel was the worst of it."

  • Great Relaxing Mountain Escape

"Having searched extensively for a secluded mountain top cabin with a breathtaking view, we decided upon the Eagle's Nest. We were highly impressed that the descriptions of the cabin and the views were spot on! My wife and I enjoyed celebrating our anniversary in the romantic and picturesque venue. We were captivated by the brilliant sunrises and even the sunsets were beautiful! The cabin was exactly what one would expect a mountain retreat to be. The friendly locals and their dogs were welcoming but not intrusive. The beds were "mama bear" comfortable and the amenities plentiful. We will most assuredly return!"

  • North Georgia Creek Side Hideaway

"We enjoyed a fabulous long weekend at this creek side cabin in North Georgia. We were joined by our daughter and 11 year old grandson. We could not keep our grandson out of the creek. He said many times ‘this is the life’. My husband and I walked (carefully) up the creek to a nice swimming hole where he caught a bass which made him the happiest man ever. We took a short hike on the Pinhote Trail which has an entrance less than a mile from the cabin. We also drove around beautiful Carter Lake which is only a few miles south of the cabin. The Carter's Lake Dam and Visitor’s Center were very interesting. We cooked meals at the cabin and also enjoyed some of the local eateries in the nearby towns of Chatsworth and Ellijay. The vintage gas stove and oven were a new experience but worked just fine. The large electric skillet came in handy as well. The cabin was private, artsy, warm and cozy. We loved sitting on the screened-in back porch listening to the sounds of the rushing creek. Our hosts were most gracious and we look forward to returning in the future."

  • Hidden gem

"We loved this house! Stayed here with another family, and there was plenty of room for the 10 of us. The location is very peaceful and secluded. Nice to have the basement for the teenagers. We drove to raft the Ocoee about an hour away which was a blast. The owners were very helpful and responsive and the house was very clean and welcoming."
