  • Wonderful anniversary weekend.

"We so enjoyed our time at this cabin in the woods and would recommend staying here. Communication with owner was great, all info was helpful and we had no problem getting in. House is quite a distance from the main gate, you would not want to forget anything and turn around and go back out for a quick trip. Roads are winding and narrow at some points, so at night extreme caution when traveling in, deer on sides of roads grazing. House sits back off gravel road, very quiet, cool cabin style home. Wonderful porches to see the mountain view. We enjoyed morning coffee on master porch. We were not in house much, but felt comfortable and safe. There is no coffee or tea provided and face soap is the only toiletre provided. We did not have this info, so we are letting others know. Need to bring your own! Would be a nice amenity for not much to add or please inform guests that this is not provided, many vrbos do. We did not cook so not sure what was available. Appeared to have a full kitchen of stuff. Cell signal and wifi worked great. Bed is comfortable, shower is great. Some furniture is a little worn, but comfortable. House is clean. We did not use the resort amenities. We only stayed in condo for the morning and to sleep. Not too far to downtown Ellijay and we so enjoyed the Chateau Meichtry for wine tasting and live music. Morning deer come right up to house and show no fear!"

  • It's like staying at your very own Camp!

"Overall a very nice cabin. The pictures and description are very accurate. Hot tub was clean and operated well. Kitchen has everything you need, and the grill outside worked fine. That being said, I wouldn't stay here if you're expecting a luxurious cabin with fine linens and a suede couch. (It's not a Sandels resort) This cabin is very basic, and is rough around the edges. It needs little repairs here and there but, for people like us none of this was an issue. When we rent a cabin we look for a nice hot tub, a clean cabin, well stocked kitchen, and a comfortable clean bed to sleep in. **This cabin had all of that.** We enjoyed our stay and will most likely rent this specific cabin again if its available. Only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the light bulb in sauna was blown and the rec cabin is a bit rough. (Pool table was wobbly, and there are some specific instructions about leaving the heat alone in the rec cabin which is fine but, it was 100 degrees in there!)"

  • What a wonderful time with the family.

"My husband and I took our son and four children and stayed at Ponderosa Ranch Cabin. WOW! The pictures do not do the place justice. Very close to all the activities going on around us for the little ones and just hanging at the cabin we were totally happy. Julee King was so very helpful and accommodating-a great group to work with. Family members came up during the weekend to spend the day and wven with 14 of us in the cabin everyone had space. Great all around get away!!!"
