"what a wonderful time we had staying in this lovely, fully equipped house. Everything was so fresh and clean. My sons and myself enjoyed the house and yard. They played while I worked!! The owner was very reasonable to deal with and was very responsive to our needs and queries."

  • Lovely stay

"We stayed here while we were in Atlanta for my son's wedding. We had a good feeling when we first walked in and found a box of raisin-cinnamon english muffins on the table, topped with a gleaming gold bow. It was a lovely, relaxing place to be. The spacious house has three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with a king. Our party of six included an unmarried adult sister and brother who would not be sharing a bed (obviously). Jason was kind to provide an airbed and extra bedding so we could comfortably sleep all six of us. Alpharetta is full of exclusive, gated neighborhoods. This is not one of those neighborhoods, but it was pleasant, quiet, perfectly safe, and delightfully convenient to shopping and restaurants. One of our favorite things was the Publix about 3 minutes down the main thoroughfare outside the neighborhood. The house is attractively and creatively decorated, and comes well equipped for comfort. Call me a dork, but I was thrilled with the kitchen's gas stove, huge stainless steel sink, and nice cutting boards. It also had loads of nice gadgets and appliances, even a crockpot (which we used) and a waffle iron (which we did not use). The master suite upstairs is laid out beautifully, and is very large and comfortable. The cavernous walk-in closet was just perfect for holding all of our wedding attire. During our time there, we had occasion to drive to the airport, which took about 50 minutes, and to the Georgia Aquarium, which took about 30 minutes. The beds were firm, with good support, and fine for us (some might prefer a softer bed or enjoy a mattress topper). The bedding was comfortable and the pillows were excellent (and plentiful). The weather was quite cold while we were there, but inside the house we were cozy and comfortable. The backyard and decks looked charming from the windows. There were a lot of interesting books, and it would have been fun to curl up and read some, if we hadn't had such a busy week. All in all, it was just a really good stay. Thank you Jason!"

  • House Is Beautiful

"This was the perfect home for 8 retired women who enjoyed a Girls Weekend in the ATL. The home was very spacious with nice furnishings, well kept and up to date. Looks just like the photos. It is completely stocked with daily essentials (paper goods, cleaning supplies for dishes), things that are needed for a short weekend. You are provided with everything you would need away from home. The kitchen has all the amenities including plenty of pots and pans. The beds were comfortable and their was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and privacy. There was also enough room to sit together and chat in the living room and kitchen area. Having a bedroom on the first level was perfect for friends who had difficulty with stairs. Mr. Scott, the owner was very easy to deal with. He responded quickly from the first initial inquiry. The home is located in a private and quiet neighborhood. Most of the attractions we visited were about 45 minutes away from the home. I would definitely consider the property again when visiting the area. Thank you, Mr. Scott Daphne"
