"We stayed there for 5 nights and this place exceeded all of our expectations. The kids had blast of a time: fishing, exploring the creek, playing soccer, football, badminton and water guns. The cabin is spacious and comfortable and has everything that you may need, but what makes this place so special is the natural setting. It is very private and secluded and surrounded by the creek on one side , pond on the other and forest on the back. We spent most of our time outside by the creek , around the fire pit and had a wonderful time. The owner was very easy going and responsive via emails. We would love to come again and according to my kids this was: ...the best vacation ever, way better than Disney."

  • The Whole Reason I Started Coming to Murphy, NC!

"A beautiful view was the reason I first came to Murphy years ago, and party of why I continue to stay in Murphy at least once every year. And while I've enjoyed most of the other cabins I've stayed in, this one is by far the best! The decks and many seats and tables were perfect for eating meals outside or just enjoying the spectacular view. But, you can enjoy almost as much of that view from inside with the perfectly placed windows. The three full baths are great for any family, while the kitchen was packed with everything we needed for real cooking (and you can still enjoy the view!). I do wish the pool table was full-size (or that I had known ahead of time to expect a 1/2 size table) and there was room to play - we followed the owners' request and did not move the table, making it basically impossible to play - unless you were to use the method shown on an episode of Seinfeld, using a conductor's baton in place of a pool cue. I'm not a crazed pool fan, but I do like to be able to play when I stay in a cabin. In short, this will be the first cabin I check on the next time I'm planning a trip to Murphy."
