  • Home away from home!

"We stayed at this lovely cabin over this past Labor Day weekend. We used "waze" - finding the cabin was no problem! The owners have this cabin equipped and furnished with everything to make your stay superb! The board game galore is such a treat! My kids LOVED them and tried a lot of them out for hours of fun and entertainment on all 3 days! The cabin sleeps 8 comfortably! The beds are comfy and the bathrooms spacious and luxurious! I cooked 3 meals a day every day, be sure to bring the condiments and oil &/or butter. There's music in the kitchen - something I personally enjoyed! If you take your iPod you can hook it up to the speakers and enjoy your own music! Being right on the coosawatte river, the walk to the river is simple (even for our 1 year old!) and more importantly, the view is breathtaking! The screened in porch makes the morning coffee and evening drinks so pleasurable!! And the hot tub!! What a pleasure that kids experienced it for the first time and it felt like heaven after a long hike!! So pack your bathing suits. The kids got in the tubes and enjoyed the floating in the river...the water was a bit low however! We went apple picking one day and hiking on another...other than that, we were in this cozy comfy home and thoroughly enjoyed the change in scenery! There was plenty for the kids (1,7 & 8 yr olds) and the adults to do right there in the cabin. Highly recommend this cabin!"

  • Well equipped house with creek view

"7 of us who travel together rented this home. We were all very pleased with the home. It is spacious, well decorated, has a very well equipped kitchen, pleasant screened in porch with multiple rockers overlooking the creek. The only disappointment was that we had to wash the towels before we left and the home has an old small stacked washer and dryer. It took 3 hours to complete the towels. That was not a pleasant way to end our stay in this beautiful home. I would recommend the owner purchase a washer and dryer that is equal to a home that can sleep 12 people."

  • Wonderful cabin with OUTSTANDING views! Fantastic getaway for the whole family.

"Our stay was great! The cabin is well taken care of and has lots of things to keep everyone entertained. The hot tub was relaxing. Seeing the sunrise has never been more enjoyable. We will stay here again. If you are considering "Endless View," you will not be disappointed."

  • Wonderful vacation home for large family

"This well appointed large home with spectacular views met all the expectations for our yearly family reunion of 12 with five children ranging in age from 10 to 17. The amenities available at Big Canoe and the surrounding area offered so many different choices of activities that everyone wants to return again. However, I am disappointed that in the 30 days since our return home, I have not yet received the "fully refundable security deposit" of $350."
