  • Wonderful cabin in a beautiful setting! So many amenities!!

"We just returned from 4 nights at this beautiful cabin. We have stayed in two other cabins in the last 2 years and this one had far more amenities than either of them. The cabin is clean and comfortable and contains everything it says. The one thing I didn't expect was all the extras. Let me explain...We are used to taking lots of items on a trip to a condo or cabin: tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, salt and pepper, garbage bags, dish soap, laundry soap, a decent knife, plastic cups, etc. For this cabin, I could have left all of that at home! This cabin had so many extras! What generous, thoughtful owners! As the mom and the planner of this trip, this really impressed me. I cannot adequately pass on how impressed I was with this wonderful cabin. The only very minor issue was that the gravel driveway gave us a little challenge. It is steeper than it looks and our van resisted a bit, but we made it out! We used the grill, the dishwasher, the fire pit, and all three bedrooms and showers. Everything worked perfectly and made for a great trip. The town of Blue Ridge is delightful, as are the people. Great, great small trip with our family! Thank you!!!"

  • Wonderful time!

"Beautiful cabin and property tucked away in the mountains conveniently close to town. There was plenty of room for our large group and everything was very clean and well kept. Beds were very comfortable! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for preparing meals. The only problem we had was with the controls on the hot tub (couldn't adjust the temp) but we were still able to enjoy it because it was warm. I would highly recommend this beautiful property to anyone who needs space for a large group."

  • ...BEST VACATION EVER!!!

"We stayed there for 5 nights and this place exceeded all of our expectations. The kids had blast of a time: fishing, exploring the creek, playing soccer, football, badminton and water guns. The cabin is spacious and comfortable and has everything that you may need, but what makes this place so special is the natural setting. It is very private and secluded and surrounded by the creek on one side , pond on the other and forest on the back. We spent most of our time outside by the creek , around the fire pit and had a wonderful time. The owner was very easy going and responsive via emails. We would love to come again and according to my kids this was: ...the best vacation ever, way better than Disney."

  • Another wonderful family mountain retreat!

"This is our second year staying at this amazing home! We were not sure if staying at the same place again would be as fun for the grandchildren - but they were so excited when they arrived, they ran upstairs to see "their" room! It was perfect for our large family as the older kids had a room, and the baby had a room connected to their parents. The kids loved playing in the creek this year (they came prepared with boots!), their parents enjoyed visiting nearby Cartecay Vineyards. Since we were past the apple 'season', the local apple orchards did not have any kids activities, but we visited the Noah's Ark Animal Rescue, which the kids loved. It's amazing to find a mountain home with enough level ground for kids to run and play, and enough room inside for the kids to play, and the adults to watch football! The Owner is very responsive to emails, and to provide any information you ask for. If you are looking for an amazing place to enjoy the north Georgia mountains with your family, this is the place. Our family hopes A River Runs Through It will become a Fall tradition!"
