  • Almost heaven!

"This was my family's inaugural trip to "The Cloudview Suite!" It most definitely will NOT be our last as long as we are blessed enough to return. It is very conveniently located. There are several grocery stores and other places of business at the foot of the mountain. We were able to get all of our groceries and supplies quickly and easily. Also, you're just a few short minutes from downtown Chattanooga. We actually arrived very late in the evening. In fact, it was around 10 pm, I do believe. Everything was prepared, clean, and in great working order upon our arrival. The lights where you park, along with the porch lights, TV, and thermostat, were all turned on and set comfortably for us when we got there. The WiFi worked just like it should. Our 3 year old was able to stream Netflix. My wife and I stayed connected with smart phones, too, so speed and bandwidth are not an issue at all. The tv was nice. A flat screen. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 50". Oddly enough, I would almost suggest arriving later on the day like that. Perhaps after dinner and the sun has gone down. It worked out perfect for us! The view of the valley below, in daylight, was surprisingly almost a shock! It was very much unanticipated. We were able to wake up and take it all in for the first time. Coffee mugs in hand, we sat out on the porch in rocking chairs and watched as the sun climbed up above the horizon. The dark night was pushed back by the sunlight, and inch by inch, it slowly filled the entire valley with delightful rays of sunshine! It was very surreal! It's definitely a sight to behold, and the perfect setting for a nice homemade breakfast. The inside of the suite is nice. The beds were very comfortable, and topped with fine linens. The kitchen was set-up nicely. The dining room table was trimmed with a nice table drape and placemats. The private porch was equipped with a hot tub, gas grill, four big rocking chairs, large picnic table, and other alternate seating. We wanted to relax and enjoy all the mountain air we possibly could. For our family, it was the perfect setting and environment. If you are like us, or you just need a break, or simply have a desire to see beautiful mountain scenery at its finest, I'm certain you won't be disappointed! We were able to enjoy a nice family getaway and take in the gorgeous scenery. After all, that's what mountain life is all about. I have ZERO reservations in giving this property 5 stars! "The cabin was very welcoming! It was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We had kids aged 3 to 14 and adults and there was something for everyone to entertain. Can't wait until we can return!"
