  • Awesome house

"We arrived on a Friday night and stayed till Tuesday morning. The house was beautiful and clean, the view was fantastic!! The outdoor fireplace and covered porch was our favorite. We enjoyed the fireplace and the incredible surroundings. This was a very private location and very safe. The house had everything we needed. We couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations. I will recommend this house to my friends. Oh wait.....I already have 😊"

  • BEST TIME EVER !!

"This was our second visit to this cabin and we fell in love with it even more! We had several family members and friends staying at the cabin and I believe I can speak for everyone when I say, this was an amazing trip. We had plenty of room for everyone and some of us never even left the cabin.....was no need to :) The view and location were spectacular and thankfully the weather was just perfect the entire time. Being secluded and private is a big plus since when you think about staying in a cabin you just don't want to be in a cookie cutter type of community, and believe me, it is not! We took full advantage of the grill, hot tub, arcade game, and fire pit by soaking, relaxing, making smores, grilling all types of food, and even roasting a deer roast (we had some pretty awesome cooks). The owner Dave is the absolute best and nicest guy we have ever dealt with when booking a stay at a hotel or cabin. If you do need anything at all, before or while staying at the cabin he is on point by quickly responding and taking care of your every need. We are already talking about our next stay at the cabin and quite honestly wouldn't even consider another place while staying in Blue Ridge. Thank you Dave for once again sharing your beautiful cabin with us, it really does feel like home to us!"

  • Perfect size great view

"Absolutely loved this place. Home was perfect size for our party and view was just what we were looking. Trout in stream everyday ducks every morning swimming by. Driveway road may be difficult for some vehicles even dry and without snow. I had 4x4 and still slipped some. I would say NO cars"

  • Well appointed home in the Big Canoe community

"This beautiful home is tucked away in a nice neighborhood and is well appointed regarding decor, kitchen supplies, linens and a very handy washer and dryer. The driveway can be a challenge for some vehicles but my F150 made it after several tries using lower gears. It's not for the timid and requires going down to the end of the street, turning around, and charging up the steep drive. The home is lovely. Unfortunately, the area was experiencing a drought in August and the waterfall was not active. There was a nice trail close to the home through a deep canopy of trees running alongside several brooks/creeks. There are a few restaurants and an IGA grocery store down the road from the main entrance to Big Canoe. We also dined at the clubhouse and enjoyed a wonderful meal and golf course view. Beautiful."
