  • Well appointed home in the Big Canoe community

"This beautiful home is tucked away in a nice neighborhood and is well appointed regarding decor, kitchen supplies, linens and a very handy washer and dryer. The driveway can be a challenge for some vehicles but my F150 made it after several tries using lower gears. It's not for the timid and requires going down to the end of the street, turning around, and charging up the steep drive. The home is lovely. Unfortunately, the area was experiencing a drought in August and the waterfall was not active. There was a nice trail close to the home through a deep canopy of trees running alongside several brooks/creeks. There are a few restaurants and an IGA grocery store down the road from the main entrance to Big Canoe. We also dined at the clubhouse and enjoyed a wonderful meal and golf course view. Beautiful."

  • Beautiful Home

"This house is just as it is described and then some! Our group consisting of three families ranging in ages 4 - 58 stayed in this beautiful, well-appointed home. It was spacious and very accommodating for our group. The teens had their own space upstairs while the little ones had a great play area on the lower level. We rent through VRBO quite often but have to say that this was the cleanest house we've rented. The location was great for day trips to Blue Ridge and Elijay and the Fainting Goat winery (15-20 minutes away) was a great place to visit for the afternoon. The fall colors were exceptional during our stay. Julie was a joy to work with from beginning to end and promptly answered any questions we had. We would definitely stay in this home again in the future."
