"If you are reading this and don't stay here, you lose. The cottage is beautiful with a terrace deck overlooking the coastline. A fruit tree orchard is in the back yard. Walk across the driveway and you will hear the stream about 50 ft. below you. Walk down the path and there is a stone stairway and path that leads to the stream and a little waterfall. There are 3 natural pools to enjoy. On a clear day you can see Maui. The owners are very nice, Paula does her best to make sure you feel right at home. We just can't say enough about what a fantastic place this is."

  • Enjoyed our time in Honokaa

"This was a great little place to spend our vacation. A very comfy place that the owner has provided many extras to make the place as close to the amenities of home as possible. Like the description says, if the attached studio is rented then you will hear your neighbors but this was a small downside outweighed by everything else the place has to offer. The owner is incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to anything you may need, you won't find a more responsive and accommodating owner. Thank you Jennifer for such a great place to stay!"

  • Great little cottage on north shore of the Big Island

"The "Little House" is a well equipped cottage in a quiet, secluded spot in the hills above Paau'ilo. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, and nice living area. Diane, our very thoughtful host, brought us some fresh eggs from her hens and pointed us to some fresh fruit that we could harvest from trees on the property. Highly recommended if you are looking to explore the north shore of the Big Island."
