Great Place for Families
"The home's location is truly "Magical". I traveled to the home with 6 adults and 4 children, and we had an amazing time. The grounds that the home are on were spectacular - the view was magnificent - and the children loved the pool.
My family does a lot of traveling, and this is one of our all time favorite stops. We were at the home for 10 days, and we did not want to leave. I would definitely recommend!!"

"This place is awesome, truly awe-some. If it's a unique Hawaiian experience with a fabulous view you're looking for, this is the place. Great place to relax. Richard, your host, is very gracious and provides you with both the essentials for the house and also some wonderful extras. It's not a "luxurious" experience--it's an authentic one. You'll think you're lost just before you arrive--but the view is unmistakable. I do believe it's the most beautiful view we've had anywhere. And my kids (and my husband and myself!) LOVED the cows! They were hysterical...would come running--faster than my dog!--to get some food. Great memory :). Hope to return--and next time, we'll stay for a month.

"This was our second time staying at Kaye's farm homestead, and we loved it just as much the second time. Kaye is a welcoming and responsive host--easily accessible if any issues arise. The house itself is comfortable and well-stocked for a home away from home, and the farm is gorgeous and peaceful. We had a great time roaming around the property with our son--making friends with the cats, feeding compost to the pig, and exploring--and the homestead makes a great homebase for day trips. Hope we'll be able to make it back for a third visit in the not-too-distant future!"

"This was an amazing place to stay! Yes, it is a type of Ohana but the way it is situated it is very private from the owners house. Very clean, comfortable bed and everything you would need for a vacation. The view is drop dead gorgeous and the town of Honokaa is very charming. One of Rachel (the owner) sons Daniel took us on a hike to the sea cliffs, it was an unbelievable view. If we return to the Big Island we would definitely stay there again, it was a highligt of the trip. Also reasonable priced."
