  • Loved the place!

"Really liked the raised wooden house. Very comfortable. There were 3 adults and 2 babes under 2yo staying there. One went in the cot provided and the other on a lilo. Lovely big house. TV worked well, wifi was excellent. Kitchen big and had everything we needed. Saw cows, pigs, green lizards, a few frogs (heard the frogs all at night too) and even saw a mongoose crossing the road on our evening walk, as we headed towards the lovely botanic gardens down the coast. They are really worth a visit. Even toys there for the kids. We put the fuze ball balls in the nearby cupboard to stop little fingers getting them. Just remembered - probably still there!!! Sorry Lyndie. Everyone - you must put on insect spray if you sit outside, little midges bite you otherwise!. Totally recommend the house to all."

  • Beauitful ocean view with peaceful surroundings

"We enjoyed the home immensely. It was just what we wanted, a peaceful oasis with ocean views. Everything was so easy and such great communication from Tarek and the property manager. Everything we needed was provided at the house. Would love to be back as soon as possible. Highly recommend this house for beautiful and peaceful surroundings and my favorite location on the Big Island! Mahalo!"

  • Great place to relax and enjoy the beach!

"My husband, infant, and extended family and I stayed at Steve's house for 4 nights recently. This was a great house! Prior to arrival, Steve was very communicative, a fast responder, and incredibly helpful. Everything was as described when we arrived, and from there we enjoyed thoroughly the beach across the street (and got to see some green sea turtles!), the beach gear Steve leaves at the house for his guests, the great space in Steve's house (large kitchen, large living room, great patio space, fun yard to explore, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, etc.), and the great location and proximity to Hilo downtown and Volcano National Park. We had a BLAST in Hawaii, and a huge thanks to Steve!"
