  • Plantation Homey!!!!

"I enjoyed my overnight stay @ Pattys cottage. It was super convenient to have the town restaurant right next door literally! It was maybe 100 steps out the cottage door. I stayed in cottage 2. Just right of a space for me. It could comfortably sleep 3, with one halii for another person to sleep on the floor. Thank you Patty!!! If there was one thing I would've liked was an a/c, it was hot during the day!!! Comfortable tropical cool at night though with the ceiling fan on full blast!!!! Aloha and Mahalo, Kathleen"

  • Great Views

"The view of the ocean was wonderful and I enjoyed the morning on the deck. It had all the necessary kitchen items. Washer and dryer were nice. This property was located well for us. We started the day snorkeling at the state park, turtles were amazing. Then to the National Park. Couple of things to note. We had 4 adults and the sofa bed was is very sad shape. The legs have been taken off so the bed goes not sleep level. The town is close and the grocery store has a good selection, But hard to find after dark."

  • Perfect Family Getaway!!

"The Hula Hut was the perfect stay for our family's Hawaiian experience. The location was ideal, in between Hilo and Kona, and so close to the Black Sands beach and Volcano National Park. The condo was a perfect size for our family of four (two small children), and even with one room, the kids were perfectly content and comfortable on the pullout couch and chair. The Hut was immaculately clean and convenient to cook and meet all the needs of the family. The area was quiet and seemed well managed, we especially loved the pool and BBQ area. We did not have any issues with WiFi, although we did not spend much time on the internet when there are so many things to see and do in Hawaii! Can't wait to go back!!"

  • A perfect place to stay

"My 19 year old son and I had a wonderful stay in this spacious home. The neighbors who take care of the property were kind and gracious. We came to explore, snorkel, and fish. Even though they did not fish themselves, they loaned us some books about fishing in Hawaii. And gave us various locations where they have seen people fishing. The location is prime for accessing Volcano National Park, Black Sand Beach. Huntington Park, South Point(the southernmost tip of the United States, I was told), and the Green Sand Beach(take the 3 mile shuttle, it is worth it). On Wednesday, we enjoyed the Farmers Market in Naalehu."
