  • Beautiful Property & Delightful Host!

"What a fantastic property! The cottage was SPOTLESS, bright, and incredibly relaxing. The linens were lovely, and the cottage was tastefully decorated. I appreciated the toiletries, especially the lavender bubble bath. The location is rural and peaceful--I loved walking to the Buddhist temple down the road. It was about a half hour drive to Volcano National Park. Though I did not meet Anne personally, she was a fantastic host and a great communicator. She offered suggestions for nearby restaurants, hikes and even provided little itineraries for daily adventures. Based on my experiences, I would highly recommend this property to friends and family!"

  • Wonderful, Warm, and Hawaiian

"It was a wonderful stay! The house is immaculate and just as advertised. The lanai is the perfect place to grill, chill, and enjoy your meals of local fish after a busy day at Southpoint or other areas of this wondrous island. Linda checked with us at Check-in and at mid-week to make sure everything is OK and was great! There were plenty of cooking utensils and pantry basics for the kitchen. The rooms have comfortable furniture and beds and we will likely be back."

  • A perfect place to stay

"My 19 year old son and I had a wonderful stay in this spacious home. The neighbors who take care of the property were kind and gracious. We came to explore, snorkel, and fish. Even though they did not fish themselves, they loaned us some books about fishing in Hawaii. And gave us various locations where they have seen people fishing. The location is prime for accessing Volcano National Park, Black Sand Beach. Huntington Park, South Point(the southernmost tip of the United States, I was told), and the Green Sand Beach(take the 3 mile shuttle, it is worth it). On Wednesday, we enjoyed the Farmers Market in Naalehu."
