  • Very Nice

"Highly recommend, even has an elevator though only 3 floors. Complete kitchen, nice pool/spa, open workout room, short walk to shopping. Comfortable beds, serene view and lanai facing golf course, idyllic and calming. Would stay again (in fact, probably will). Aloha Oe!"

  • Ocean front rental. Private with incredible views.

"Easy, easy, easy....quiet, peaceful on water. Owner's home is on property (not on water) and separate structure away from oceanfront rental. Owner only there for a few days during two week stay but treated me like it was my home instead of hers. Outdoor shower was incredible. Wish my home in California was suited for immediate install. Accommodations provided are all you need. Large living/dining open room with room to spread out. Parking spacious and off street, coin laundry with coins supply provided, barbecue, picnic table, and hammock for outside nap. Best reef on the island is out your back door for snorkeling and tide pools. World class golf, choice of resorts for dining 10 minutes away but why leave? Lots of windows for view of ocean and open air. Sunsets can't be missed each evening. Will return as soon as I can."

  • Ran out of superlatives....

"The south Kohala Coast has become our favorite Hawaii destination, and this beautiful condo puts you in the heart of it, with a gorgeous view, and some of the best snorkeling in the state within easy walking distance: Honokaope, the small cove there at the 15th-hole, and Maka'iwa Bay/Beach. That's not to mention Napua Restaurant at Maka'iwa, which in our opinions is one of the best on the island. The Point complex was built to very high standards, and unit B107's owner makes an obvious effort to maintain that same standard with quality furnishings throughout, and interesting well-chosen decor that's culturally consistent with the fabulous setting. One nice surprise that I don't see mentioned in other reviews was the closet full of beach gear, including chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, and snorkel gear. We absolutely loved our 11-night stay there and would return in a heartbeat. Besides being clean enough to pass the white-glove test, and the thoughtful basket of goodies provided on arrival, the owner/property manager was also very responsive, quickly attending to a minor maintenance issue we identified. I would agree, though, that a little updating might be in order. The two TVs are probably 20 years old. That said, why watch TV when you're in Hawaii anyway!"

  • Amazing condo!!!

"This was my first time using VRBO so naturally I was a bit nervous, but dealing with Gordon was an easy and pleasant experience. The condo was beautiful and the fruit, nuts and coffee put out for us were a very nice added touch! Not to mention there is a closet full of snorkel gear and beach toys, towels, and lots of other stuff. Gordon is very easy to work with and accessible throughout your stay. The process of booking the condo was very easy and Gordon even provided info on things in the area. All in all this was a very pleasurable experience and Hali'i Kai is an amazing place to stay, safe to say we will be back!"
