  • Great Place, Great Price

"We spent 5 days here and it worked perfectly for our family of five. The kitchen had great amenities and the bedrooms and living areas were very nice. We were always on the go so didn't spent much time there during the daytime and we didn't use the pool area, but it was nice to come "home" in the evenings to a nice comfortable condo instead of a small hotel room. There were beach towels for us to use and beach toys for the kids to use. My daughters used the boogie boards which worked well for them. They also used the buckets and other sand toys at the beach. It was also great to have a washer and dryer in the condo. We would definitely stay here again if we ever get back to the Big Island. Also, I can't say enough good things about the team at the management company. We got in late and had to check out a little late as well and they were very accommodating. Overall, a great experience from the condo itself to the customer service. Would recommend for a family of 5 or 6 or would also work well for 2 couples."

  • Beautiful ocean view condo!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful condominium with Lanai, very luxurious and spacious. The pool and workout facility are also very luxurious. You cannot go wrong with this property!"

  • perfect for our needs

"The villa was in great shape, nicely and simply decorated. It was very large and even easily accommodated dinners for 15 people. There were nice touches like soft sheets and towels, bath gels and shampoos, laundry and dish detergents, and even lots of cooking basics in the cabinet that you hate to have to buy when renting for a week. My only complaint is that we paid a premium to be in a house with a pool but we never used it because it was too cold. The control panel to turn on the heat was pretty complicated (and I'm usually good with those things), so we just used the hottub once, which heats up pretty quickly. The pool and workout facilities for all of Wai'ula'ula were very nice and in very good condition, so we did spend some time there. And we had a perfect time at both Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach Prince resorts. We would definitely rent in Wai'ula'ula again, although we may save money next time and get a condo without a pool instead. But this house was really lovely."

  • Beautiful house, great beaches

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here with our two kids (12 and 15) for over a week. The house was great, with lots of space, 3 separate full bathrooms, and a great view of the ocean and sunsets. The artwork of the owner that decorates the house is very nice, too. We really liked the affiliation with the Manua Kea hotels, and the beaches at both hotels are just beautiful. It's hard to over state just how nice these two beaches are, and they are both just minutes from the house. One of our highlights of the whole trip was the kids paddle boarding off the beach at Mauna Kea. The location is pretty far out from Kona, so we spent most of our time out at the resorts in the area (Mauna Kea/Hapuna, Mauna Lani, and Waikoloa). Everything you need is there, but it's pretty quiet. That was good for us, but people looking for a busier scene might want to be closer to Kona, because it's about a 30 minute drive away. We certainly recommend this house. The combination of a good sized house with plenty of space with access to the hotel amenities at Hapuna and Mauna Kea is really hard to beat."
