  • Sooo serene and relaxing

"We loved our five day stay at this unit---great location, well equipped, comfy, and beautiful sunset views. We ate breakfast every morning on the quiet, serene lanai facing the golf course and ocean. The kitchen is well stocked for making meals; Foodland nearby at the Shops. Lots of beach towels in the unit to use at the private beach club nearby; washer and dryer work great too. The unit is very comfortable...we lounged on the comfy couch at night as we planned the next day's activities---so much to see on the Big Island! We used the TV and DVD player one night and they both worked great. Guide books in the unit to help you plan day trips. At night I fell asleep with the soft breezes and slept well; in the morning the birds were singing as we ate breakfast. Even on the first day you can feel the city stress leaving your body. Ha. I didn't want to leave. So glad we got away to this amazing place and I look forward to the next time I can go."

  • Very Lovely Place

"Our family of 4 stayed over Spring Break March 2017. Townhouse was just perfect--beautifully furnished, close to pool and to Fairmont Orchid beach, nearby stores for last minute items, garage with lots of convenient items like cooler, mats, umbrella, ... Owners were very responsive and helpful with lots of recommendations. Instructions to access house was clear. Furniture, indoor and outdoors, were comfortable. Kitchen and laundry room were well equipped. I would definitely stay here again, very spacious. Private beach was a gem with nice shades, chairs, showers, bathrooms, restaurants, beach rental, ...great place to "beach" it all day. Thank you for sharing your lovely home."

  • Lovely Hawaiian Oasis!

"Very comfortable, relaxing, quiet, and spacious. Beautiful pool and hottub. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. Also beach chairs, beach umbrella came in very handy. The hosts Dennis and Cheryl and extremely attentive and are available at a second's notice by text for any need. This is a great location. Local grocery store and restaurants close by. Great little smoothie place. Can enjoy relaxing days w/o even leaving the immediate area: beach club, walks along the coast including beautiful fish ponds, golf where you get an amazing discount at the spectacular Mauna Lani course, the black sand beach (#49) is amazingly picturesque, great snorkeling at the beach club and black sand beach, the Napua at the beach club is a great restaurant (you can also just get smoothies there to enjoy at the beach). beach club also has equip to rent like snorkeling gear, standup paddle boards, etc. activities on the island I would highly recommend: Ride the Rim ATV tour at Waipio Valley (amazing guides give great short talks on culturual history, plus the ATVs are a blast; they make it easy for first time riders, and the views are spectacular!) and riding bicycles in to see the lava flow into the ocean from Kalapana (great tip from our hosts!). If you want a guide to take you in to see surface flows (an unbelievable experience!), see Lavaland Hawaii tours. The development where this condo is located is very tastefully done. not gaudy or commercial. We were glad to be staying there as opposed to the next develpment to the south w/ the Marriot, etc - very different feel w/ commercial and touristy develpment. The Mauna Lani area is really a treasure. Highly recommend!"

  • Wonderful place to stay

"First, the resort is super nice, quiet, beautiful and relaxing. Mark's condo is quite nice, and close enough to the pool to be extremely convenient, but not so close that you hear pool noise or have people looking into your windows. When a few small issues did arise (needed new batteries for the door lock, and the beach club access card was missing), Mark was very responsive in getting things replaced. We had a great time and can highly recommend staying in this unit. And just having access to the owners beach, which for all intents and purposes is private, makes this resort THE place to stay."
