  • Fully stocked, well appointed villa in the heart of Mauna Lani

"We have stayed at different villas at Mauna Lani on several different occasions and love the resort and beach club. What truly set this past visit apart was this lovely villa that we stayed at in the Golf Villas. I am not one to write reviews and have rented many, many a vacation home over the years without doing so but felt compelled in this instance based on the wonderfully stocked home, clean and well organized, and the responsiveness and support of the owner Karen. One thing that frustrates me with vacation rentals is having to go out and buy all the staples (salt and pepper, olive oil, coffee filters, etc) that you then end up tossing when you leave. This home was well covered on this front with many staples already in the house. Further to food items, the kitchen was very well stocked with every type of good quality gadget you might need, decent knives, and things such as tupperware and ziploc bags. It also provides a good selection of beachware, including towels, boogie boards, noodles, beach toys, etc. And the layout and furnishings were perfect for our family, including the twin beds for our 2 kids so that they didn't have to share a bed. We were extremely comfortable throughout the trip, feeling immediately at home. We will definitely look to rent this property again the next time we visit Mauna Lani. Thanks Karen and family!"

  • serene, clean condo

"I have vacationed to the Big Island many times and have stayed in this condo about 4 or 5 times. The owners are super accommodating and easy to get in touch with. The condo is very clean and the location is perfect if you prefer to be in a quiet, peaceful, beautiful environment. The grill on the lanai is great, since the farmer's markets have amazing provisions of fresh island produce and fish. The owner's beach is also one of the big reasons I keep returning to this condo. It is the perfect beach for a morning swim workout, with amazing views of tropical fish and honu :)) What an incredible treat while doing a swim workout! You can not go wrong with this condo. You will be pleased with your decision. I just know it!"

  • Relaxing view

"We have stayed a number of times at townhouses in Mauna Lani and this one had the nicest views from either the main floor or upper lanai. The location was a bit of a walk to the Shops (a must for happy hours) but the beach club was closer than from other locations and we enjoyed walking kings trail or the fisherman's trail (fantastic views) to Waikoloa. The unit was well equipped and had everything one needed. It was only my wife and I but with 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths you could easily have a large family or several couples share the place. We had a car and spent much of our time golfing at various courses (14 rounds at 7 different courses) with a great variety of styles. The beach club is nice but more crowded so you can always walk to the black sands beach next door (or drive if you are early enough, or late enough, that there is room to park) - just go to the security gate and ask for shore access. Lots of great beaches to explore all over the area if you are willing to drive and go for a bit of a hike."

  • Perfect layout; location

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were traveling with my 83 year old mother so the downstairs bedroom was perfect for her. She easily made the walk to the Mauna Lani shops and the pool was a short walk away for the kids (who liked the basic pool b/c at the time it was not crowded) The snorkeling right outside the bay of the private Mauna Lani Beach Club (to the left) rivals the snorkeling at Captain Cook Monument, and so much less trouble to get to! Was great to have access to this beach. Back at the condo, there was enough space for us all and we never felt cramped and was very quiet. Kitchen also well stocked with basics like oil and ketchup, thank you -"
