  • Aloha!

"Where does one begin? The setting, the home, the attention to details, the immaculate condition, the super-generous hosts, the weather, the proximity to beaches..? This place is heaven on earth and Kulalani2006 is your way to experience it. Be warned, you will have serious holiday blues when you leave! We woke up to beautiful birdsong daily, it was simply delightful. The unit is located in a well manicured gated community. There are great amenities, like swimming pools/fitness club, etc and #2006 is perfectly situated for easy access to those. The beautiful beaches of the Kohala coast are a short drive away. We spent long days at the Beach club, again, you get access because of Kulalani and we had a very memorable day at the Hapuna Beach. We also drove upto Mauna Kea to see the night sky, but the viewing was really quite good even from their doorstep. We were able to visit Akaka falls/Hilo/Waimea and return home to a very relaxing space. Nina & Richard have filled their immaculate home with everything you would need for a holiday. The kitchen is fully equipped and is so well organized. One can whip up a gourmet meal, but why bother, while on holiday? We used it mainly for breakfast and to warm up meals or baby bottles. Even though Kulalani is a townhome, we never heard our neighbours, did not see too many people and had lots of privacy and quiet. This is hands down the best place we've ever stayed in and we hope to be back. Mahalo to Nina & Richard!"

  • Great Condo and Ideal Location on the Island

"Our family of 5 (Parents and 3 adult children in their 20's) stayed here over Christmas 2016. The Condo is spacious and attractive, providing for all our needs while vacationing on The Big Island. We ate many of our meals on the balcony, enjoying the views of the golf course and sunrise. Just steps from the condo we used the small but attractive community fitness room and pool. And only a few minutes further on foot is access to the walking/jogging path through the interesting and beautiful Historic Fish Ponds that leads to the Mauna Lani Beach area. The beach and swimming environment are beautiful and clean for families wanting to sit on the beach (lounge chairs provided), swim, snorkel and paddle board. There are plenty of colorful fish to see if you enjoy snorkeling! There is a small market, shops and restaurants a 5 minute drive from the condo (we liked eating at The Blue Room and Tommy Bahama's) and 10 minutes away there are more in Waikoloa Village. If you are a Green Bay Packer football fan there is a great Packer Sports Bar, called Quinn's, in Kona (~30+ minutes drive south of the condo). From the condo we took daily drives- North to the furthest point, South and East to the Volcano National Park, Hilo and Akaka Falls and across the Island on Saddle Road. There is so much to see and do! The condo owner, Cindy (who is pleasant and responsive via email) provides both condo and island written information for her guests to help guide them with questions they may have while visiting. Overall, this great condo and its ideal location were perfect for our vacation!"

  • Beautiful. Great location!

"This home had an incredible postcard perfect view of the ocean and lagoon! We loved sitting on the lounge chairs on the patio, surrounded by the gorgeous palm trees, flowers and plants as well as a large lawn area, while gazing at the expanse of ocean in front of us. The unit was nicely decorated. The beds and sofa were very comfortable and there were plenty of linens and large beach towels. The kitchen had everything we needed including great selection of cooking utensils, blender, electric BBQ and we were especially happy there was an electric pancake griddle. The walking distance location of the private beach club was ideal as was the Mauna Lani hotel which had good restaurants. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Phil for your hospitality!"
