  • Excellent accommodation

"The Golf Villa Resort is very relaxing & met all our needs. Beautiful pool & spa to swim & relax. Nice landscaped gardens well maintained. Shops & restaurants nearby. Possible to walk to but easy drive in the heat. Airport 30 minutes away. The Villa was superb. Clean & comfortable. Bedrooms were a good size each with own ensuite. Comfortable beds with lovely linen. Master bedroom huge with balcony overlooking golf course with view of mountains in the distance. Very relaxing. Air conditioned house. Lounge & dining area very comfortable. Nice furniture. Kitchen clean & well stocked with glasses, crockery, pots & pans, cooking utensils. Fabulous. Condiments available & some basic pantry supplies. Outside barbeque area very clean with nice outdoor table & chairs with view of golf course & mountains in the distance. Snorkels & bikes in garage for our use. We had a lovely relaxing holiday at this villa. Three couples with plenty of space. Manager of property is nearby if needed. WiFi available. We appreciated the comfort & the lovely ambience of this property. Yours Sincerely Michael & Mary Dortmans"

  • A wonderful place to stay at Mauna Lani

"This was our first extended stay at Mauna Lani, and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have found Linda Kelly's lovely condo through VRBO. It fit our needs perfectly. The condo was nicely furnished; the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary cooking utensils, dinnerware, and barware as well as appliances like a rice cooker and an espresso maker; and the patio was the setting for many meals and card games. The kitchen was even stocked with a large variety of spices and condiments, and cooking basics like olive oil. The view is of the 4th fairway of the Mauna Lani North course, but it is filtered by many trees which afford a good deal of privacy. The Fairways complex (which is beautifully landscaped) has the nicest pool in all of Mauna Lani, and I made good use of the air-conditioned gym. Linda was very welcoming and very responsive when we had an issue connecting to the internet (quickly corrected). She even brought lemons and tomatoes one day. In short, we enjoyed our visit and are planning to spend many winters to come at Mauna Lani."

  • Awesome Townhome

"We stayed in the Villa for a fantastic week and enjoyed every moment of it. What we loved best about our vacation was that "at-home" feeling. Besides the amount of space we had - over 2000 sq feet for the 3 of us, we loved the fact that we had both levels to ourselves. We don't like living on top nor below another family. We only had neighbors to the side of us and never did we once hear any of them! The layout is amazing with the bedrooms located upstairs while the living space was on the lower level. The gourmet kitchen is large and has everything needed (note to self: No need to pack spices, aluminum foil and plastic wrap in the future). The kitchen had everything imaginable! We particularly enjoyed the Viking Grill on the Lanai and used it frequently. We picked up Steaks, Chicken, and Salad from Costco and supplement it with locally grown fruits for a delicious dinner. Having a washer / drying in the villa was great as we were able to do laundry every few days. Although this was our first time to the Big Island, it won't be our last. In the past, we've vacationed primarily in Maui. But having now spent 2 weeks on the BI, we can honestly say that we enjoy the BI as much, if not more than Maui. We love the serenity, the quaintness and the laid-back lifestyle of the Big Island. We loved the Farmer's Markets particularly for the hard-to-find island fruits like Cherimoya, Jackfruit, and Soursop (which btw, is hard to find on Maui). While the BI is big and driving is required to the beaches, markets and shops (only the Shops at Mauna Lani are within walking distance), we got used to driving to where we needed to get to. We really liked the location of the Mauna Lani Fairways as it allowed us to get to Waikoloa, Waimea, Hilo, Kalapana, and Kona easily via the Hawaii Belt Road or Saddle Road. It was also very close to some of the best golf courses in Hawaii. We purchased a Hawaii Golf Deals Card and used it extensively at the 3 Waikoloa Courses, Hapuna and at Mauna Kea. We had a fantastic time on the Big Island of Hawaii and our accomodations added so much more to our vacation. We wanted a place where we would enjoy hanging out and not just a place to "come back and crash". It's a little piece of heaven right in paradise!"

  • Another great stay

"This was our fourth visit to this condo and we continue to be amazed at how great this unit is, Mark has been such an easy person to deal with and always ready to provide information to improve the visit, not to mention how wonderful they keep up this unit. Love the location and everything is here to support your time at the beach, especially access to the Beach club. We still find new things to discover just in the Mauna Lani area. Thanks again for a great stay."
