  • BEAUTIFUL HOME, PERFECT LOCATION!!!

"We had a great, 2-week, family vacation on the Big Island. Your Hawaiian home is very warm, inviting, clean, beautifully decorated and surpassed our expectations. It was very nice to be welcomed by Bennett and for his assistance with our questions. He definitely helps the process run very smoothly. We really appreciated your quick and friendly responses to our emails throughout the rental process. My husband and I and our two teens (14 yrs and 17 yrs) felt very comfortable in your home. Our daughter has mobility issues and your one-level, ground-floor home was easy for her to access and move around in. It was definitely the nicest rental property we have stayed in and we really appreciated all the “extras” that it was stocked with. We had an extra piece of luggage filled with snorkel equipment, binoculars, laundry soap, dish soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and cooking spices because we normally need to provide these ourselves in a rental property. Anyone renting your property is very lucky to have all these items and many more extras such as beach towels, chairs, body boards, toys and even tennis racquets and balls provided in your home. The location was the perfect home base for our many, daily excursions around the island. We enjoyed cooking our own breakfasts and most dinners in the condo and appreciated having a barbecue which we didn’t have to wait for or share. It is very handy to have a Costco a half hour away in Kona for our large grocery shopping trips. We visited a different part of the island every day and also enjoyed a sunset and stargazing program on top of Mauna Kea and a 2-hour, helicopter tour to the active volcano, rainforests, Hamakua Coast, Kohala mountains and waterfalls. We were very lucky to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on a night when the active vent gave us a wonderful show of lots of molten lava churning and splattering in the dark sky…an amazing experience. We really liked the Beach Club and black sand beach at Mauna Lani and Hapuna Beach. There are soo many nice areas to enjoy in the Mauna Lani Resort area. David and Chris, we can’t thank you enough for generously allowing us a late check-out when our flight was leaving at 11pm. We will highly recommend your home to anyone visiting the Big Island. We can’t wait to come back!!!"

  • Fantastic Location for Families

"This Condo was absolutely fantastic! We came to the Big Island for a wedding and rented this unit with 2 other families. We had 6 adults, one toddler, and two infants (3 & 6 mos.) and stayed in the unit for 7 nights. First impressions: Clean spaces, easy transactions (door lock is electronic and codes are emailed to you), fully stocked kitchen (Including tupperware! A godsend that so many other rentals we have been in lack!), easy to understand guide booklet. BBQ works great. Second impressions: The layout works great for multiple families, even those with small children as one of the rooms has a trundle bed, and the unit comes with one pack-n-play. As far as kids waking others up in the night goes - it was amazing how sound-proof (well...resistant anyway) the walls were. Some of it was probably spending all day in the sun, some of it was probably gorging ourselves on food, but we all slept quite well even when the little ones woke up in the night. The pool is just a quick stroll from the unit and was quite nice. Third Impressions: The "private" beach that is part of the Mauna Lani properties is excellent, but in terms of overall ease, the beach at the Fairmont was within an 8 minute walk, and had a much calmer "cove" area where the kids could just sit on the sand and not get smacked around by waves. You are not allowed to use the lounge chairs/cabanas at the Fairmont (reserved for guests), but we easily made due with towels from the condo. The beach chairs and snorkel equipment (including fins!) provided were also great to have on hand. The condo also has tons of towels. Final impressions: This unit absolutely made our stay in Hawaii an A+ experience. While I'm sure there are plenty of nice units scattered about the island, we found this one to be absolutely perfect. Excellent price, excellent amenities & excellent location. The owner Carolyn was always very responsive via email and helpful with any of our concerns. If we travel to the island in the future with a group of people, this unit will be our first choice. No question."

  • Amazing home in perfect location!

"We stayed here in early October 2016. Both the home and the associate property are in an ideal location for exploring the Big Island. We had two families stay here including 5 children ages 1-7. The home is perfect for a multi family stay, with the layout of the home allowing for privacy when needed as well as open space for meals and gathering together. The pool and amenities were awesome, as was the private beach access. We will gladly stay here again for any future visits! Kai and his associate were available for any questions, and all communication was friendly and helpful."

  • Excellent Value

"This was our first stay at Golf Villas, after several stays at other Mauna Lani properties. Golf Villas is a denser development than most others, meaning there are 5 or 6 condos in each building, and the buildings are fairly close together. That said, every building offers a good view of either the golf course or the big volcanoes, and except at the busiest times, there isn't a feeling of crowding. This unit is an inside ground-floor condo, with a view of golf course fairway, lots of palm trees, and an oblique look at the sunset. It's well-furnished for comfort, and well-stocked with all of the necessary equipment for cooking, both inside and on the big built-in lanai BBQ. The beds and bedding are top-quality. The garage is nice for keeping your vehicle cool, and there's dedicated parking in the driveway as well. Because it has windows on only the E and W sides, breezes are limited, but the AC keeps the condo comfortable during the heat of the day. We were very happy with all of our interactions with Marjie throughout the rental process. Her interest in having her guests enjoy their stay is obvious, and much appreciated. Due to its location in the Mauna Lani Resort, its clean and comfortable appointments, and the very reasonable rental rates charged, it's easy to give this condo a high rating."
