  • Great House, Great Location

"Age range, 60, 30s, 20s and young kids. The house was great for everyone. Location: About 25 minute drive from the airport, straight up the highway. Very easy to find. It's situated on the fishpond (look it up, very interesting history) which makes for a nice buffer between you and the beach-goers. The beach is a five minute walk, either through the beach club or marriott sidewalk - super easy to get to. The fishpond is also really neat because you can look in it and see all kinds of creatures from fish to eels and crab. It makes for a really pretty setting. Also, within a one minute drive is a nice grocery market and two nice upper-midscale outdoor shopping areas. Very nice to have so close by. The other houses in the area are all well kept and we never heard a peep from anyone on either side of us (did see cars in the driveway, so someone was there). Amenities: The beds where all comfortable. I have some back issues but slept great, which doesn't usually happen when I travel. The beds all have nice, big Hawaiian Quilts on them (as shown in the photos) - very nice touch. The two masters have big bathrooms with standup showers that lead to outdoor, private showers and each has a large, jetted tub as well has dual sinks. All other bedrooms have standard baths a shown in the photos. All very clean and well appointed. The dining room has a huge solid wood table (very cool) that can seat 10 or 12 without issue - probably more. The kitchen was my favorite part. Very nice Viking kitchen with everything you'll need to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner - something we did a lot. Family room was very large with plenty of seating. One of my favorite features is the opening walls to the back yard. We had some great nights where we could open up the whole house and let the fresh air in. What a treat. We spent a ton of time in the pool. It's lit at night and the jacuzzi is heated. What more do you need? The grill outside works great and we used that and ate outside a few times. The grounds are kept up really nicely. There are trees and flowers all round the front, back and side yards. The details were not overlooked here. And last but not least, Tjaden, the on-site property manger, was awesome. Ask him anything and he'll make it happen. Overall this house really made a great home for our family for the week. We'd all highly recommend it."

  • 5-Star Fun at 1st Class Accommodations

"Our holiday celebration at this lovely condo was wonderful. Truly, it was a 5-Star experience! This was only our second time we've booked a property on the VRBO site, so I was still a bit hesitant. No need for worry though. Robert, the condo owner, was so organized, helpful and responsive. He was easy to work with and had every detail covered. He provided a late check out, recommended many restaurants and activities, and even after our trip, promptly refunded our deposit and tried to help us locate some items we'd misplaced. Exceptional service! The condo itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Stylish, yet comfortable. Lovely gourmet kitchen. Our son caught a 25-lb. mahi mahi on Christmas Day and this condo's kitchen was fully equipped to prepare delightful meals. We took advantage of the fabulous Viking grill on the private lanai as well. In addition, we loved the Kolea Beach Club's infinity pool setting which gave us easy access to the beautiful Anaehoomalu Bay Beach. Snorkeling, turtle and whale watching, stunning sunsets...all only minutes away from the condo. We enjoyed every minute...and hope to return to take another crack at the condo's 1000-piece seascape puzzle. So fun for our entire family...we just needed one more day to finish! Thank you, Robert. We had a 5-Star time!"

  • Kolea 8A

"My husband and I had the distinct pleasure of renting the above home. We were accommpanied by our daughter, her husband and our 3 year old granddaughter. We all had a fabulous time. Being across the street when you have a little one is a blessing...inevitably something was forgotten and easy to retrieve. We did alot of cooking during the two weeks and every single utensil, pot etc. was there for us. Very convenient. I would absolutely rent this home again. THANKS"
