  • Highly recommended

"The condo is in a great location, well equipped and furnished to the highest startdards, with very comfortable beds!! It's only a short walk away from the beach and the pool. The view of the susnset from the varanda is just breathtaking. The condo has pretty much everything you need if you choose to stay in - nice shops, bars and restaurants. I look forward to coming back and certainly recommend it!!"

  • Great Condo

"Alan: Our family had a great time while staying in your property. It was just like the description in the listing. Location was great and close to most anything you would want. Other family members were in another unit close by so it was a great trip to Kona. Came for granddaughters wedding so there were lots of friends there from the "mainland". Grooms family was from Kona and Maui. Wedding was at the Mauna Kea which is a great place to view Manta Rays in the evening. two other restaurants that stood out were the Lava Lava Beach club and Sansie Seafood Restaurant. Would recommend your condo to all. It was a pleasure. Michael & Sharon"

  • The Whole Package!

"Our suite offered many amenities allowing us to enjoy and relax "living" in this home away from home. We loved eating al fresco, wifi worked great, the kitchen was equipped with all we needed, plus we had access to extras such as cooler bags, boogie boards, etc. The pool area was well maintained, staff very friendly, stocked with ample towels and we always found a chair. Beach access was convenient and the view of the Ocean was great for sunsets. We took advantage of the golf membership, our guests easy parked close by, and enjoyed morning runs (along the side walks and a refreshing path along the ocean). Customer service was responsive, for example the BBQ propane ran low and was filled within the hour! We made many day trips to Kona, Hilo, Akaka Falls & Rainbow Falls, Pololū Valley and other local beaches. The Waikoloa markets have groceries (you pay more), plus the Waikoloa village is close by and you can easily stock up on groceries in Kona (Costco, Walmart, Safeway are all right off the main highway). We recommend this property and hope to stay again in the future!"

  • Nice unit and good value but arguably best suited to older couples

"Overall this is a nice place provided you are looking for a quiet condo and have tempered expectations of the local beach and pool. Pros: - Overall quality of unit and complex (best in area?) - Well equipped with several kitchen basics and beach stuff - Spacious; great for sharing with another couple - Local paths / trails are cool - Quiet Cons: - Retirement community vibe - Beach within walking distance (A-bay) is a disappointment - Nice pool area but not heated (cold!) and lots of rules (no toys, etc) - Couch is in dire need of replacement - Management company is nice and polite but behind the times with online booking (fax/mail) - Local shopping areas areas (King/Queens shops) have buzz-kill elements like a Macy's and Macaroni Grill - Quiet We had a small maintenance issue that the manager attempted to remedy immediately. The floor is really dirty - probably from folks not taking off their shoes and tracking street grime on to the tile floor. We are strict shoes-off folks so after seeing black soles after 30 minutes I called to request a cleaning. They promptly came and re-washed but is didn't really help. I didn't push it. Overall the place is in nice condition but the floor needs some help. I suppose it is hard with a rental... The complex is really nice but it was hard with a 4 year old - A-bay is a drag, cold pool, no pool toys permitted. All in, it is probably about the best you'll do in the Kohala area but it isn't a great family set up if you are comparing vs a resort."
