  • A.J.'s Condo Review

"My wife and I had a great time staying at A.J.'s condo on the Kona Coast of the Big Island in HI. The condo is in a great location, minutes from the beach, with nearby shops, restaurants, and markets. The condo is a well kept up second floor unit with a lanai, quiet, with pleasant views. There is a nearby restaurant, a short 5 minute walk away, the Tropical Ale House, which convenient for meals out, or for takeout pizza."

  • Location, Quiet, Comfortable

"My husband and I came to the big island to attend a wedding and have a vacation. We stayed 9 nights and would have stayed longer if we could. This condo was an excellent place to stay. Very close to Kings & Queen shops, Lava Lava Beach club, Tropics Ale house all of which you can walk to if it isn't too hot. A short drive takes you to beautiful Hapuna Beach and other beautiful beaches in the area. Condo has well equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals (we only cooked breakfast there). Loved having the cooler for trips to the beach and the beach chairs and towels were great. Bed is comfortable as well as living room furniture (I fell asleep in the chair one evening). Loved using the overhead fans as well as the air conditioner when needed to keep the place cool. Lanai would have been used more often but it was just too hot when we were there. We did enjoy it in the evening to watch the sunset. We were amazed at how peaceful and quiet it is at The Shores. Simon is great to work with and very responsive. If we come back to the Big Island we would stay here again."

  • Everything was perfect.

"My husband and I spent 10 days in this condo and had a fantastic time. The condo is large enough for 4 adults (we had some friends come over from Oahu for a weekend) and had everything we needed. Pool, fitness room, grill area-which we never used because restaurants are so convenient, but you could use them. A great location in the Waikoloa Beach Resort. Plenty to do. The location is excellent for exploring the rest of the island. We had a ball. The condo is exactly as it looks in the pictures."

  • Fabulous Stay!

"We loved the place: Spacious, with lots of sunlight and a view of the golf course and the ocean. We enjoyed the BBQ on the lanai, the well-equipped kitchen, and the beach chairs. With its two well isolated suites, the condo is perfect for 2 couples or 1 couple with 2 kids. On site, we had a blast at Dolphin Quest and playing the 18-hole Beach Course. Visiting the Hilton is worth it, with its trains, boats, and restaurants. The only downside is that there is no beach within walking distance. We drove to Hapuna Beach Park and to Mona Kea Beach, which are two spectacular beaches within a 10-minute drive."
