  • Awesome condo!

"We stayed in this condo with another couple who had never been to the island. I was a little nervous about renting this property since I hadn't stayed at Waikoloa Beach before and you never really know what you are going to get. You have to trust the reviews. Well, this place far exceeded all of our expectations! It was absolutely beautiful inside and out! It was beautifully appointed, VERY roomy, VERY clean and VERY comfortable! The views from the lanai were amazing, loved having breakfast and watching the sunrise over Mauna Kea! In the condo were beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards and ice chests. What more could you need? The property is very conveniently located near shops, restaurants and fabulous beaches. It is also an easy drive to get to other parts of the island. The owner gave us several recommendations, most of which we did. They were fantastic, Bob, thank you! We especially loved the Kilauea Iki hike, stargazing at Mauna Kea, the Pololu Valley, kayaking and snorkeling at Captain Cooks Monument, and Hapuna Beach! The take out sushi from the grocery store in the Queens marketplace was awesome! This couldn't have been better unless there were a fruit basket to welcome us to the condo....oh wait! The owner did that too! Thank you!!! Will definitely want to stay here again and again!"

  • MELE KELIKIMAKA, indeed!!!

"I almost feel like I shouldn't write this as I don't want the secret to get out. :) This place was the best. Waikoloa is easily one of the most beautiful spots in Hawaii, and this condo is equally lovely. Great space, great location (super close to Kings Shops and Queens Shops). Although, I would recommend a car and do grocery shopping in Waikoloa Village proper, as Queens Shops Market is PRICEY!!!! But then again, it is Hawaii. But this place is great. Awesome bathrooms, one of the most well stocked kitchens I've ever seen, and GORGEOUS VIEWS of the sunset from the lanai (where we spent most of our time). Right next door to Tropics Ale House, and nestled in between the Hilton and Marriott. (Stick to the Marriott Luau, but go to Hilton for bar hopping and if you want to play tennis). Can't say enough good things about this place. One small downside was the internet speed, as we were trying to stream movies from our Apple TV for Christmas, but a minor issue at best. We still had the blu ray player that was avail. A-Bay is close, but for a BEAUTIFUL beach, drive 10 mins north to Mauna Kea beach. Parking, white sand and a restaurant/bar at the hotel. Plenty of beach gear at the house (chairs, umbrella, floaties, coolers) which was appreciated. Thanks again Sylvia, and MAHALO!!!"

  • Home away from home, nice central location, close to sand beaches, snorkling, and shopping.

"We arrived to the condo after a late flight from the mainland. I would suggest making a right turn at the main road and making a stop at Walmart (15 min.south of airport) for snacks and refreshments then head north to the condo (about 15 min. north of airport). Using the instructions from the owner, we easily entered the gated community, and then the condo. The beds were comfortable, even the fold-out couch. Air-conditioning was a plus! In the morning, we were pleasantly surprised with the view! The lanai is large, almost like two more rooms. Plenty of space for up to 6 people. We were a group of 5, and never felt crowded. We used the pool everyday. Plenty of seating and umbrellas, clean and welcoming. We didn't use the fitness center, but it looked well stocked. In the same building as the fitness center, is the business center, a computer and printer available. We used the boogie boards and snorkeled with our own gear at A-Bay beach. It is about a 10 min. walk, but we drove. There is a free day-use parking area at Kolea Kai Cir. just before the Marriot. We were able to eat most meals at the condo, but did try and enjoyed the food court at the Queen's mall. Right next door to the condo is Tropics Ale house. They had good and affordable pub grub during the daily happy hours. Ascension Catholic church is about 17 minutes north in Puako with 10am Mass on Sunday. The check out time is 11am and we had a late night flight. I would recommend booking an extra night at the condo, or check with Leroy if a late check out is possible. The owner, Leroy was very easy to work with, returning calls right away. Definitely would recommend, and hope to return. Thank you to Leroy and all the guests before us for making the condo a home away from home."

  • Perfect place to stay on The Big Island

"We absolutely loved this place and highly recommend it. It's a fantastic location, well appointed and well maintained. Really lovely. Clean. Extremely comfortable. Great location. I loved the peace and quiet it provided. It was great to have a fully stocked kitchen. Wonderful to have access to all the amenities provided by the luxurious Hilton across the street, yet not have to stay in a hotel room there. Their pools would make any child out-of-their-skin happy!"
