  • Just Right!

"We stayed for 8 days with another couple. Originally from O'ahu we lived on the Big Island for 4 years as well; we are pretty clear as to what is and is not reasonable, and what level of quality is available. We visited family in four locations on the island with no problems, and enjoyed the west side beaches. I am happy to report that this place is in very good shape, very clean and well appointed. We found everything we needed to cook plus things for the beach and pool. The couch and love seat were comfortable for sitting and chatting. Two very nice lanais. The pool is outright gorgeous and the hot tub is wonderful. We didn't barbecue, but we did observe one group doing so with real enjoyment. One thing that worked really well was the high level of comprehensible communication. The owner/manager was straight forward, replied quickly, and took care of a minor problem immediately. I highly recommend this place!"

  • Wonderful vacation

"My sister and I stayed in Waikoloa, truly enjoying our time at this comfortable town home. We were there to spend Thanksgiving with family who live in Waikoloa Village. While we could have chosen to stay in the Village (approximately 5 miles up the hill from Waikoloa). We prefer being closer to beach, hotels and shops. In the past we have stayed in hotels, this time we chose to stay at Waikoloa Colony, a decision we were very happy with. Everything thing we needed for our 2 1/2 week vacation was provided for our comfort. We definitely look forward to returning and will hope to stay in this very same condo."

  • Spacious, airy, beautiful house with pool, hotel, and amazing views

"My husband, 4 teens, and I were lucky enough to find this house as we were planning our trip to the Big Island. It was perfect. Three huge bedrooms , each with king beds and massive bathrooms. Super comfortable lofted ceiling in living room/fully stocked kitchen. Back patio with pool, hot tub and view of golf course and lava. It was a perfect base to relax and to plan our many day trips around the island. House has access to private beach club, Grotto with pool and hot tub, and hotel tennis, golf, and spa. Kathleen met us at the house and attended to every need that came up. Everyone loved the house and would return in a heartbeat!"

  • Excellent rental, perfect home away from home

"We rented this unit for two weeks in July 2016 and LOVED IT! The home is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and welcoming. The owners have made it especially accommodating for guests traveling from the mainland, considering all the "home away from home" necessities one might need but not wish to pack (beach towels, sand chairs, coolers, extra linens). And guests will find many extras not usually found in most rentals (coffee grinder, spices, kitchen gadgets, grilling utensils, docking stations, books/games, a Wii, Netflix, and great WiFi!). The unit was clean and very well maintained with comfortable beds (including the sofa bed), new furniture, and a warm and welcoming decor. We loved the location of the unit within the Waikoloa Resort. The A' Bay beach on the resort property was gorgeous and so peaceful, rarely crowded. Great for snorkeling or wading in the shallow surf. There were ocean activities available, with reasonable kayak and paddleboard rentals, as well as snorkeling gear rentals. Beach chairs were free to use on a first come basis and the Lava Lava Beach Club was just a few steps away, with friendly service, good food, and delicious mai tais! The pool nearby was very nice, and since each cluster of units has its own private pool, there were rarely more than two families at the pool at any given time. The Island Market, shops, and restaurants at the resort had everything we needed. We also loved the condo's easy access to Route 19. We did a lot of traveling around the island! Dream Properties Rental Company was very helpful with any questions we may have had prior to our arrival and while on our vacation. We will definitely return to this condo! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Thank you to the owners for making this a fantastic vacation rental."
