Living large, relaxed and in style in Waikoloa
"My family and I spent 10 glorious days at this tricked-out, well-appointed, luxurious, large and comfortable condo in Waikoloa. I have only praise for the owners and this space. From the moment we contacted the owners to inquire about the space, we had quick responses to our questions with detailed answers. Their 'welcome packet' and 'FAQs' was the most informative and robust document I've ever seen ... and I've been renting through VRBO since practically the founding of VRBO.
As for the space itself, it is LARGE, LARGE, LARGE. My wife and I had our two adult children and one teenager with us and we all had plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable and I've never seen a rental space with more towels than this. We had plenty of beach towels and bathroom towels for all of us. The kitchen was very well stocked. We cooked many meals in and had some of our extended family (who were staying nearby in far lower-quality spaces) over for dinners, with plenty of plateware to go around. The location was great, with Hapuna Beach an easy 15 minute drive away."

"The first time you walk in the door will leave a lasting impression. The ocean view is just spectacular! The owners generously left a basket of goodies on the dining table & champagne in the fridge, which was a nice surprise. The unit itself was beautifully decorated and well stocked. My sons however did not like the air mattress in the bedroom downstairs. So, my other son took to sleeping on the couch. He said that because his brother is heavier than him, he was rolling toward that side of the bed. LOL. He's close with his brother but he'd rather not wake up face to face with him. Other than that, our stay was just amazing."

Our family of 4 spent 10 nights at Hali’I Kai (7E) and enjoyed every minute. This was our first time booking a condo through a travel website and we were at first hesitant. However, the owners were super responsive and took the time to answer all our questions which made us feel very comfortable booking the condo, we are so glad we did. The owners are very respectful and easy to work with throughout and provided all the necessary instructions at the right time along the way.
The condo was easy to find (~25 min North of Kona International Airport) located within Waikoloa Village. The grounds and facilities of the village and Hali’I Kai are spectacular and provide the necessary amenities (Restaurants, food market and shopping) if you choose not to venture. We drove into Kona several times to shop and eat (our favorites being Umeke’s and Huggo’s on the Rocks). There are several beaches nearby that we went to frequently, this included but was not limited to; Anaehoomalu Bay (about 5 min from the condo near the Lava Lava Beach Club), Hapuna Beach (one of our favorites about 15min from the condo) and Mahaiula Bay (down a bumpy road at Kekaha Kai State Park.but well worth it). There is also a lagoon within walking distance of the condo you can swim at.
Everything advertised about the condo was as stated (and more), very well kept, clean and is situated in a perfect location to obtain an ocean view and postcard like sunsets. We so enjoyed sitting on the back patio every evening watching the sunsets. The owners have really outdone themselves furnishing the condo, providing all the comforts of home as well as the things needed to enjoy the beaches (coolers, beach towels, beach chairs, sun shades and even boogie boards). The kitchen is top quality and supplied with the tools one would need. The bedrooms are very quiet and peaceful, the beds and sheets are super comfortable. The food and service at the Hali’I Kai Beach Club (the pool area) is really good, everyone we met was so nice and easy to talk to. We made great friends with other guests and built life long memories. Helpfulness"

"The Big Island is so beautiful. The condo was perfect for us! It was the right amount of room for my husband, son, and I. Loved the decor and location. My little quiet time was on the patio with the view of the golf course, palm trees, and the ocean. I went for morning walks and it was a perfect location to try different areas...around the resort area, along the ocean with lava rocks and paths along all the resorts and hotels, or just down to the sandy beach couple miles away for a nice morning walk. The condo had great amenities.....cable, wifi, nice furnishings, updated kitchen, amazing beds, plenty of bathroom space, laundry, parking, and a gas grill. Just a short walk away we could be at the pool with a bar and restaurant, and amazing sunset views. This rental surpassed all my expectations! The only negative.....that I actually have to go back home!!!
Thanks so much Jim and Debbie!!!!"
